God I really wish the Shaman crest didnt have a dogshit bind that forces you to the ground. It's the last crest you get and that makes it nigh unusable in the final boss.

Jesus Christ a new zone name flashed on screen and I was actually outraged
Yeah I was spoiled on that area and I'm not sure how quickly I would have found it on my own.
I think the problem is that Greymoor basically feels 100% complete once you have the wall climb. There's not really much of a reason to go back and explore it once you get the double-jump unless you're really astute with the map markers or picked up on and remembered the subtle hints to Wisp Thicket's existence. The hints ARE there, but I feel like most people see them partway through Act 1 (and very early in Act 2) then spend 10-20 hours or more on the super-expansive Act 2 areas forgetting all about them.

What are the hints? I had the outside of the bell (in the Underworks) marked on my map for a while. Were there any other things that hinted at it?

The little area where you find the pimpillo and the fact that there is green bamboo at the top of Greymoor at all. Although the pimpillo is probably part of the problem since it's hidden enough to feel like a reward in and of itself so you have less reason to come back

(Act 3)

Tormented Trobbio -- Holy hell could you stop exploding the entire screen for like 5 seconds or something? For heaven's sake.

Gotta respect the man's entrance though
I didn't do guru this year but azuarc can be in my sig anyways.
The closest this game gets to Dung Defender (still not that close)

How did VintageGin get to Act 3 without finding all the fleas?

Nvm, I remembered you don't need all the fleas to get the caravan to move. Carry on!
while you slept, the world changed
Personally I think it would have been really funny to have a flea in The Void just to make people go, "Wait, what? How?"

Finally found the last flea in Far Fields by accident. I searched that room and many others so many times. Mooshka told me to come back after some time, which I'm never exactly sure what that means in this game. It's clearly more than just leaving the screen and coming back, but not sure if something specific will trigger this or what.

I just got to the Nameless Town . Is there anything up here aside from the Surface Memento ?

Short answer, no.

Longer answer, just before the top is the last place Mr. Mushroom is so be sure to unlock the shortcut.

I assume the shortcut is not just the narrow tunnel that leads back down to Pharloom?

Yeah, the door that actually tells you what it's doing cause I guess they figured people would be confused and start climbing again.

So there is now a 5 boss route that climbs Mt Fay without Clawline or Sharpdart.

Been too busy with real life stuff, time to give this final boss a couple more attempts before I got to sleep. Funny mentioned being worried about what better be her fucking last phase because holy shit it goes on forever. You just gotta lol at how easy the Act 2 boss is after experiencing the real final boss kicking my ass over...with "100%" completion too.

Curious about this! I unlocked the Witness wish for it. I'm assuming I can still find this guy everywhere. I remember it from the first. Do I get a bonus ending or anything for it?
Welcome to your Divinity.
Voltnest is the first area that made me resort to blue overdose

Figures that as soon as I used it, I made it to the boss arena without getting hit once -.-

You get a silly post-ending scene. Honestly, I think the ending is better without it...
All the stars in the sky are waiting for you.
So do any bosses disappear in Act3?
Only ones I didnt finish yet were Raging Conchfly, Broodmother and those 2 assholes in deep docks.

Any bosses who summon minions get much harder in Act 3.
All the stars in the sky are waiting for you.
Only ones that don't count for Journal completion, if that's the concern.

I dont want to imagine act 3 Savage Beastfly then

Also yeah I already missed my chance to duel Garmond and Zaza
Did beat Shakra tho.

fuck flea dodge, worse than any boss in the game
Do you know you're allowed to pogo off them? Doing that and using the extra jump/floating makes it a lot easier (though even without that, I had more trouble with juggle than dodge)
does anyone even read this
I don't mind Flea Dodge for one reason. It's fast. Seriously, I would not be surprised if it took 1/5 the time for the winning benchmarks than juggle.
"One toot on this whistle will take you to a far away land."
-Toad, SMB3
tried pogoing but after 70 it gets so chaotic that it was just making it harder

juggle at least gives you two misses

Crazy how different individual experiences can be. I beat this one second try. Meanwhile flea juggle must have taken me an hour and I was getting those feelings with it (though still not near as hard as like the hardest 3 bosses ultimately)
Welcome to your Divinity.
With the flea mini games, I found the requirements for the pale oil to be relatively easy, but the later scores to be pretty challenging

It's for a Memento. You have to find Seth in a few places after fighting him, then he puts up higher scores.

Just beat Flea Juggle and that took me more tries than many bosses

That might honestly be my least favorite trope in gaming.

"You beat the high score? Great! Now here's your rival coming outta nowhere to beat it back!"

I finally hit a rhythm and played out of mind in the juggling minigame, nearly doubling the original high score. Once I learned that I'd have to outdo *that* I said fuck it to that whole quest.
Burnin, Blazin
finally beat flea dodge after some 3 hours of tries, got some good RNG for the last 15 seconds

this shit is 100% luck based and I hate that
I beat Flea Dodge in three tries and I'm pretty darn sure it's not luck based
Let the voice of love take you higher,
With this gathering power, go beyond even time!
I mean there's definitely some luck. Fleas can just straight up not aim at the platform for long stretches. But I also don't think there is an unwinnable scenario under 100.
"One toot on this whistle will take you to a far away land."
-Toad, SMB3
I didn't bother with either of the minigame mementos (flea stuff or races). Doing it for the regular rewards was bad enough. That kind of stuff feels out of place in a game like this. Another reason Act 3 is kind of ass

Finally act 3'd

How dare they make me use Hunter for more than 1 second

Pretty much at the end of Act 3. Heart bosses beaten. Karmelita was a lot of fun, but same problem as First Sinner, she died too quickly. Khann was eh and his gauntlet was boring. Nyleth had a fun gimmick, but I preferred the fight with Seth more (although he accidentally teleported out of the map on one attempt). I was expecting them to be a bit harder, but I guess they don't want to make the mandatory bosses too hard.

At 97% completion, need two mask shards, one spool part and a blue tool and to deliver the lacquer, then I just need to polish off all the sidequests and optional bosses. Looking at the wiki, it looks like I only have Palestag, Clover Dancers and Watcher at the Edge to find.

Oh, and the Hunter's journal, if it's not too much of a pain in the arse.
Still the number one reason for the success of the Internet.
Don't think the lacquer contributes to percent because I got 100% without doing it. It has an entry in the materium though.
"You're childish. What are you getting? Are you getting strawberry? Ha! That's such a childish flavor, only children eat strawberry."
Ah, okay. I haven't actually checked what constitutes 100%, I'm just gonna do all of the things.
Still the number one reason for the success of the Internet.
Technically no quest directly counts. There are various reasons many in actuality still do matter.
"One toot on this whistle will take you to a far away land."

Working on the final boss (I think?) and I swear 90% of the times I get hit are from dashing away from the boss and then just getting contact damage when she pops up on the other side of me randomly . Definitely one of the more annoying mechanics ever.
I didn't do guru this year but azuarc can be in my sig anyways.

Those last 3 heart markers are more misleading than some of the really bad flees! Well 2 of them anyway
Welcome to your Divinity.
The shamans give you a hint for that one, but only if you have already gotten the Hunter's Heart.
In the heights of the great wood, nestled deep in its roots, vines and branches, find the one who sowed the first seed.
They're the very essence of the place, the nub of it all. Ain't really a bug, to be told, but a powerful presence nonetheless.
We'd heard the Citadel once made grudging accord with that creature, sent their servants in reverence, even built a shrine up there somewhere. Maybe it's worth you searching for it?

Ah damn. I assumed that it was accessible from Shellwood because that's what the hints from shamans seemed to suggest.
