actually yeah I can already see myself getting infuriated by this so I'm going to mute these topics for my mental stability

at least with smfffffffc it's only two hours a day of hating myself, I can't do both eight hours a day AND watch my favorite series and characters get gutted

Im just gonna point out that this contest is a small field so it feels bad that she went out so soon because everyone is prioritizing their own favorites (hence why even Chris was close to being eliminated).

If this was say a 50-entrant contest, and Alyssa still went out Top 30, you mightve accepted it better.

Honestly the fact that Chris didn't go out with that final five is part of the reason I'm bouncing. He's had a stranglehold on the legacy position for sixteen years now and he's nowhere near interesting enough for that. And yet Capcom persists. With Shadows, we know that he's protected until at least 2037!

With no trading there's no interactivity and the rounds are so long that I just sit here getting more frustrated as the day goes on. Plus after three days I've seen the last remainings already to know I will just fume for all of spooky season if I stay involved. And that's the worst way to spend my favorite time of year.

But yes, muting now. Enjoy everyone. Resident Evil is the best, that much is always true.

Hey, FFDragon, I know you wont see this, but Im really sorry I hurt you. I only intended for this to be fun, not stressful. Take a deep breath, and I hope you find peace of mind elsewhere. Thanks for partaking while you did.

Truth be told, Ive been feeling a little stressed from this as well, and will be taking a break tomorrow. Why? Because I want to take everyones suggestions on what I should do to improve the Save my to make it less stressful and more fun. I already know to make it 2 saves per hour next round. Should I make trading allowed too? Ive seen some contests allow it and some disallow it so I want peoples opinions. I might take Monday off too. (But not Sunday.)

Don't worry about it too much Keeby, I think most of us are treating this as just a fun contest. Going up to two saves per hour will help though, keep it from being too long.

I'm happy without trading, myself. And the long rounds don't bother me either, but I guess I'm viewing this more casually than some. I'm fine with anything, at the end of the day you're the one running it Keeby so you should do whatever you're happiest with.

Really tho if you want to change the rules, it should be to whatever allows for 3 hr rounds (~3 saves. Max 4) is usually where other save mys land.

Depending on playerbase this will take some tweaking. Also some ppl will drop out if they lose favs. Trading at least let's more ppl stick around for longer.

At this point I'm fine with both trading or no trading tho. But trading will allow for more saves

Trading tends to make things more serious, not less. And I did kind of like how slow this one was so I'm not sure you need to change it! I agree with Andy that it felt nice and casual.

But it is your thing so I'm fine with whatever is decided!

Honestly I dont mind longer rounds as well just because it means I can forget about it and then pop in like hours later and still make saves.

But as someone who's run save mys before, i would absolutely hate anything over 4 hour rounds and would change immediately to ensure they weren't the case

Yea I'm fine letting it be whatever you wanna be as the host, don't stress too much about it. We can all get a little caught up in ourselves and our hyperfixations sometimes, try not to take it too hard being on the receiving end of one
