The twist may be stupid, but when it comes to a "Mount Rushmore" I tend to go with renown as well as impact. Why put something on your Rushmore that people haven't heard about? That goes against the point.

Speaking of, I still don't know what the Planet of the Apes one is, so I'd never vote for that. But maybe the Jekyll & Hyde one is a better idea than Rosebud tbh.

If you watched Planet of the Apes on home video you were already spoiled going in by looking at the cover. That's not something you should spoil yet that's how they did it.

For Psycho, Hitchcock tried with all his might not to spoil the twist, but magazines and articles loved doing it.

The best ones are the ones that people loved spoiling so I always try my best not to do it.

That last one wasn't a spoiler to any of us because almost everyone in the west watched DBZ or something else before the original Dragon Ball, but that reveal at the start of DBZ after everything in the original must have been a big deal in Japan and saw a huge shift in the franchise's storytelling. It admittedly feels a little weird putting something at the start of a manga/anime on a Mount Rushmore or spoilers, but I think the context of what the series was before DBZ makes for an interesting suggestion for this topic.

Wouldn't the solution to that be not actually reading the topic in question (only coming in to see the previous results, post your own vote while ignoring the other posts, then ignoring the results in the following topic's OP)?

I don't think it's actually that interesting of an idea in the first place, to say nothing of the lack of participation you'll probably get from people who don't want to risk getting spoiled from the topic.
