The story is solid and the QTEs are super neat and stylized.

It's just... everything ELSE about the combat is kinda super stripped down and simplistic. It's executed well but it isn't that fun to actually play-- the skill element is sorely lacking. I don't feel good being good at God of War. God of War more like Fraud of War LOL.

Was never particularly impressed with the first game. 2 and 3 are leagues above it, and the new ones are just the best.

Hard to rate this one, I would give the environments and the level design a 9 (Pandora's temple in particular, the way it ties Pathos Verdes' story into exploration is superb), but the repetitive fights drag it down for me.
