Cyberpunk 2077 finished development in February 2020. They spent the next 10 months polishing it, and released it as a buggy mess in December. It could've used another year of polishing.

I think GTAV and RDR2 both had two delays that led to basically an extra year of time so it actually is probably on par with those two

I don't necessarily think the delay is because of the union busting, I'm more likely to believe the game is just generally far from ready, but obviously they're not gonna say that's the reason it's getting delayed. Probably doesn't exactly help the game coming out, but the company is massive enough that I don't think firing 30 people would do enough to delay it for a year. As shitty as it is of them to have done that.
