What is wetness? Some dictionaries define as "covered in liquid such as water." Its opposite is dryness, or lack of water.

If water itself is wet, then separating water molecules would mean each has become dry. Water is both wet and dry. This is an impossible state.

Aware of my own shortcomings? Sure. To the point of hating myself? Never.

Myths are merely teaching guides. They become problematic when treated as dogma. Hence fighting over whose belief is "true" in inevitable yet pointless and even deadly. We're deep into science and information age, but global politics is still dominated by religion (humans are pathetic.)

The core issue with the term atheism is that acknowledges theism is even a valid stance. That is, atheists would be better served by other terms, like rationalism.

That's the ultimate plan: provide ID for every little activity (except voting in USA.) Little by little they will make up shitty excuses like "protect the children" (yeah right), until all your rights and freedom has been whittled away, by government and corporations grasping at total authoritarianism of your activities and finance. Even regulating your food intake, or fake issues like 'carbon footprint'; there's even idea floating around about regulating and taxing personal water usage by the second. Eventually everyone has to get permission from the elites for just breathing air.

3D assets are easier to manipulate, substitute, alter, etc. via scripting. The artistry not only involves illustrators, but also scripters and advanced CG technology, like shaders and physics engines. Which can be tweaked relatively easily to get the desired effects.

Even non artists can buy well made 3D assets at cheap prices, and with good engine, animate and pose them with proper scripting. these engines includes features like varying physical size / scale, facial expressions, body language, skin color, hair styles, clothes, camera angles, environment, lighting, etc. with extreme ease.

we've gone far beyond that uncanny valley is no longer a concern for animation.

I can't help you with psychological front, nevertheless I do agree over consumption of media can numb your brain. Especially with so much content being released per second, no one can assure the quality of each and every video, nor time or effort to filter the chaff from the cream.

Getting off the grid is not hard. Myself have no constant connection at home. Only way I get online is to walk to public library, and surf on cellphone. Like right now typing this post.

Being disconnected, then, forces you to find activities to treat your brain from boredom. Myself I like to create stuff, such as my own Magic cards and sets, coding simple games (and modding) and web projects (including card creator site to visualize and organize my card ideas), and writing (short stories, but starting on novels).

I suggest for everyone to also pick up writing -- anything you're inclined. Whether stories, recipes, poems, blogs, manuals, plays, whatever. Whether it's on your free time, or whenever an idea emerges. Publishing is optional. Just get your thoughts and ideas in writing.

Like that poster said, golf has progression.

Soccer is just dudes running back and forth, and 99% of the time , there is no progress. Because ball travels back and forth and at such rapid pace, very little suspense or tension is amassed. Their highlights, despite loftier demands of athleticism and stamina, are even less interesting or remarkable than golf's.
