Boba Fett is literally the guy that made Darth Vader stop mid speech and yell "NO DISINTEGRATIONS" while pointing directly at him.I've always taken that as to show Boba has a reputation for killing his bounties and Vader was being very specific about them being captured alive.
Maybe spending an unclear amount if time being slowly digested by an enormous ground vagina can make people reflect on their past and make changes. To be fair, he didn't really remember any of that. He barely even remembered escaping, since he thought his armor was still in it.
I know. So far fetched, right?
I only had field trips in elementary school. We didn't have any in jr high or high school.Same, mostly. We went on a lot of them when I was in elementary. None in junior high and I only remember two we went on during high school (one was to DC).
That confused me as well. I guess the rumors were because of critics at the time?Yeah, it mentions critics were mixed on it. Audiences obviously like it, which is really all that matters to a studio.
movie didn't do well? didn't know that, its the one i like the most out of all of them really. guess that explains why the sequel was so different.According to Wiki, it was a commercial success and was the number 1 movie for three weeks.
It's okay. Overly long but a great cast. That whole scene is about the only thing I remember from the entire movie. The bug fight is nightmare fuel, especially what happens to Andy Serkis.
Dear god that sounds like pure terrorI suppose if one has thalassophobia, it would be. I thought it was awesome, at least up to the point I couldn't move with the controller.
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/7/7d046b55.jpgWait, there was an actual cartridge game released? I thought it had just been an arcade game. I'd love to have a C&D game box with cartridge inside like the ones in the movie. I'd have that on display somewhere at home.
In my mancave.
I think this is just the way most movie releases are going to be as time marches on. Everybody who is super excited about a film will go and see it opening weekend but the overwhelming majority of people are willing to just wait a few months and watch it when it hits a streaming service they are already paying for.I think this is a lot of it. As someone who used to go to the movies all the time, I might go once or twice a year now. When movies hit streaming only a few months later at most, a lot will just wait. Way more convenient and if someone has a big screen TV, there's less reason to see it in a theater.
I get like that too! When shows or movies are supposed to be based in Austin or central Texas and you can clearly see they filmed in Georgia or something. That reminds me of the movie The Beekeeper, where the beginning takes place in Springfield, MA and I'm thinking "There is no part of Springfield that looks anything like that".
Sue was strong enough to block Galactus energy atks even in the comics. Along with other insane power feats as well. So pushing him over under their circumstances isnt that far fetched. She never blocked any of Galactus' attacks in the original story, it was only the Punisher android that she used her shield to defend from during those issues.
I love that area. It was photos of the Connemara that made me travel to Ireland. Kylemore Abbey was around there, which reminded me of the Harry Potter movies a little.
Big Ben in London was stunning at night.. yes, it is a must see.. and Dublin was fantastic, but it was the Connemara region that made me fall in love with Ireland.
Along with the suggestions already made, I would also recommend The Orville. It's not ST (although it's obviously based off of it) and it's more comedy oriented but it's a really fun series.
But what would you watch next?
Star Trek. Get all my health issues solved, and maybe figure out how to stay there.Probably this. I'd get a shot of Retinax so I wouldn't need glasses. And of course...the holodecks.
She did? I don't remember that on the finale. I need to watch it again or at least read a summary. It was very quick,
Another misuse of the word reboot smh. A continuation in the same universe where SMG plays an older Buffy is not a reboot.Yeah, that confused me. If SMG is reprising her role, it's more of a revival. Reboot to me means completely starting over.
That would be nice if done right. Some QOL improvements, 60fps, all that jazz. Hopefully the soundtrack won't be too butchered due to licensing rights again, but I'm not holding my breath over that.I remember playing GTAIII/VC on the Xbox and using the custom soundtrack option with whatever music was stored on the console. Those were the days.
I didn't see the 258 million statement. I only saw the 119 million statement today from reddit. Here's the 258 million one. It's amazing that these people are allowed to just blatantly lie to everyone like this.
But the movie really threw the whole timeline of everything in chaos. I always thought the show took place before the movie, then they have both Connor and Duncan in the movie and events happen that make all the other movies impossible. My take on the series was each installment was in it's own continuity since each one contradicted the other.
