Forza Horizon 4 and 5 have been fantastic to play the last few years. I got bored with Gran Turismo feeling the same every game since 3 and I appreciate the more arcade/casual balance the Forza Horizon games have. I dont need to run a 24 hour endurance race, I need short races between 5-10 min when ive got time to play.

No, but I have been studying french for a year and a half and I can understand a fair bit of a conversation. I just struggle with forming my thoughts and participating in a conversation.

I was in Montreal recently and had no issues making my way around and reading things.

Ive studied Spanish and German in the past. Ive learned some Polish as well.

8.5 weeks of vacation and six months of sick leave.

I can carry forward 6 weeks of vacation leave so I still need to take a couple weeks around Christmas and spring break.

Yeah. We do say that a lot.

I remember a couple years ago at Costco I let a guy go ahead of me and he said thank you. I replied with no worries and he mumbled "your welcome, the response is youre welcome" In a passive aggressive tone. Like I just did something considerate and youre gonna get snippy about my polite response?

Like prepared meals? Sometimes if I dont have enough time or I dont have leftovers.

I do freeze a lot of meat. I tend to buy it in bulk then portion it out into bags to freeze. Its cheaper to buy in bulk.

Sketchers does a bunch of wide sizes so my main shoes are leather loafers for work, a pair of slip in hiking style shoe for around town and a pair of wide aasics for physical activity.

I have a pair of 15 year old Adidas shoes I use for working at the curling club because the rubber soles dont lose traction on ice. They're falling apart and I will miss them terribly but for now they have minimal holes and my feet remain mostly dry.

I loved neds newt and pippi longstocking as a kid. It reminds me of the golden age of teletoon for the first 5 or 6 years they were on air in Canada. So many good cartoons and things off the beaten path that they aired.

I have a little kit with a spray bottle, a hose and a little ear attachment. You fill it up with a mix of water and hydrogen peroxide. Works great.

We didn't have water bottles.

We had water fountains. If you wanted a bottle you used the vending machines with soda and candy.

Fun fact: the summer I graduated the school sent a letter to all students to inform us that half the schools Fountains had ecoli present in testing.

Generally I jog or run, but I found myself walking a lot in Sleeping Dogs because of the atmosphere. I really enjoyed just absorbing that game at a walking pace.

Ive honestly watched hallmark Christmas movies with more interesting and original storyline. The acting was meh, the plot was meh, and the whole thing felt like a cash grab.

Ive got an 05 4runner and a 2025 Rav4. The 4runner is a pig on gas but I love it, and my wife seems happy with the Rav4. Ive had the 4runner for a little over 8 years, and it was my first toyota. It was refreshing to own a vehicle that wasn't constantly having small issues. Thats why the rav4 was at the top of our list when replacing our Honda Civic.

Twice.

Took 3 months to find a job the first time less than a year after high school.

Then second time I left a job for a different job. Second job didnt work out and I reached out to the last job to see if I could come back. Left me with 7 weeks of unemployment. Thats where I learned how much unemployment ducked (all the time to do things but no money, as opposed to some time to do things and some money)

I was 25 when my parents sold my childhood house. It was hard, but over time I learned that the memories are all still there, but it was just a setting or stage for them. And over more time I was kinda relieved that an 80 year old house with dodgy renovations, plumbing and wiring is now somebody else's problem.

I have a fondness for the house, but im pretty glad im not still there. My fondness was from the people and experiences, not the structure.

I go a few times a week when I work in office for breakfast.

I usually go home for lunch and I can't remember the last time I subjected my family to a mcdonalds dinner. Frankly I think the breakfast menu is the only worthwhile reason for going (and in Canada their coffee is definitely a step up from Tim Hortons).

I was with my parents. We took a float plane to an island for dinner and I got to sit in the front seat next to the pilot. Definitely one of the cooler experiences I had as a kid.
