My thing is, even if they "release the files", aren't they going to be redacted and/or edited to pieces? Especially given that they had the FBI combing over all them for weeks/months for references to Trump.

This is why I don't understand why they haven't just released the files. Nothing is going to happen to them even if their names are plastered all over it.
In my game tactician mode instantly lost its difficulty once I unlocked Mystic and could just disable or brave down people. First Wiegraf fight I opened with disable and then just pummeled his face before he could do anything.

Argath is totally getting turned into a chicken in the next fight like he deserves. But that will be tomorrow now.

Dunno why one of my characters really sucks

Sucks as an archer and a monk so back to knight I guess. Almost to the end of chapter 1 I guess

Is it a female character? If so, remember they get less base PA than males (and more MA) and at low levels/gear you have basically no PA so even losing 1 PA is a big deal.
So quick Google search says tactician mode increases enemy damage dealt by 20% and reduces player damage by 30%. Which effectively means the AI hits 71% harder than the player with identical units
Rams
I'm not sure I'm a fan of how they manufacture difficulty in tactician mode. I thought that maybe the AI would be smarter or maybe they would just have more skills unlocked or something. But nope. They just straight up hit significantly harder than you and you hit like a wet paper bag.

Like the AI was hitting me harder through protect than I hit normally even though the 2 people had the same PA/weapon and nothing funky was going on with zodiac. At one point the AI was throwing stones harder than I was hitting.

So like yeah it's more difficult but it doesn't feel good early on at least. Maybe once more abilities and gears are unlocked it will be less wonky.
Has anyone been playing the switch version on an original switch?

Just concerned about performance issues. Usually I'd get it on PlayStation but since I frequently fly (and often long flights), the switch version may make more sense for me.

Got my second 2 star and it's a dupe Lillie

Got the 2 star Lillie which is cool I guess

Well my start to the new packs went well...

1 1 star, 1 reverse foil and that's it from 10 picks. Followed up by whiffing on a 2 star in WP.

I think this pack cycle is gonna piss people off with how big the set is, it being limited and previous cards not counting for collection purposes (but oddly do for missions).
There seems to have been a crazy amount of both blocked kicks and long field goals this season

Can the Bears do it

Yes, yes the Bears can be walked off on.

As soon as we scored I thought that's way too much time left
As a Bears fan, this game is extra painful to watch because I am playing against Ashton Jeanty in both my leagues
I should have known better than to take the Chargers. Didn't feel great about it but whatever

I wish they would revamp Wonder pick in some way. My phone is always telling me my WP energy is full and i'm like well yes because you never show me any options where I'm actually missing a card

That is one challenge I am never doing again ever. Not without QOL updates at least. I love the game, but it is very slow. Im hoping for a speed boost like the other PS1 ports got.

Didn't you break a limb doing that challenge? And everyone else who did it had some horrible thing happen to them to?

That's a pretty brutal 5 game stretch to drop a rookie QB into
Bump to remind KCF to talk about open teams
I am also in the zero god pack group but I don't even think it's grounds to complain yet since I'm sure at ~6300 cards it's still more likely to not have a god pack
That Cena / Lesnar match was so pointless and just a waste of one of Cena's matches

But I thought they didn't want politics in sports!
If they say the committed genocide (which yeah obviously) but there's no actual consequences what does Israel care. Even with consequences they won't care
I remember growing up I used to love international games and any England game was a big deal. Now international breaks just feel like an inconvenience and I only care about the tournaments

I guess part of that is being from a country that usually always qualifies and is rarely in jeopardy so it doesn't feel like there's much at stake for England games. Qualifiers sometimes feel like glorified friendlies even though that absolutely isn't the case

Really? He was one of the most physically gifted prospects ever. He's busting out because he can't stay healthy and never developed accuracy/decision making. But it's not hard to see how the huge upside potential could have been tantalizing to scouts.

Josh Allen was similar in a lot of ways but actually realized his potential. Teams thought Richardson could have been that for them.

Josh Allen is such a crazy outlier development wise though
This is diabolical

Richardson was always baffling to me. I watch a lot of college football and I just never understood the hype. He wasn't even good at Florida and yet was hyped up in the draft. I said at the time he would be a massive bust

I really do not understand what people saw in him. These are obviously people far more qualified than I am so there had to be something

So back from the bar and I've realized why the tush push annoys me so much. The play in itself is fine. It's the fact that most of the time the Eagles both line up offsides and/or false start. They just never ever get called on it though

Ok so here's a good example of what I'm talking about

Only semi-serious hot take: every news network should have at least one terminally online basement dweller on staff to fact check any stories about niche online subcultures. Its clear that traditional journalists arent ready to deal with them, and unfortunately we have reached a point where they are going to continue to come up in major events like this.

Sometimes I think they know the truth and just report the way they do because it's more sensationalist and by the time they correct (if they ever do), they already achieved the desired effect with their target audience
I was going to take the Ravens but after seeing how they have eliminated me the last 2 seasons early, I decided not to tempt fate again
Cowboys
Can't wait for another swaggerbilt appearance
Miami got away with one there that could change the game really early on. That looked like pass interference to me and didn't get called. So USF has to punt instead of getting it in like the red zone on 1st.

The best interpretation is that he was asking too many questions internally about the Epstein stuff and Trump decided to call a hit on him

I jokingly said to the guy who showed me the video that Trump must have put the hit out on him to change the news cycle and he just said he wouldn't be surprised. The guy who showed me is ex-military and Republican

He also said immediately after showing me that the person who took the shot was likely highly trained because they are told to aim for mouth or neck because its instant. And a random person likely wouldn't aim for that area (although someone fanatical I'm sure would do their research)
Will Trump actually be sad though? Or will he be relieved this changes the news cycle from the Epstein files?

I don't believe Trump cares about his political allies beyond how they may be of use to him. Some people will be genuinely sad but I don't think Trump will be one of them
The report I saw said they released the person in custody

Edit: I read that on BBC and it says it was via a university statement
I didn't realize he had just been asked about mass shootings directly before he was shot

AP reporting alive but in critical condition.

Thoughts and prayers

I would just be so amazed if this is true. I can't grasp how someone could survive that. It looked to be right in the carotid artery and there was so much blood loss instantly. People bleed out from that sort of thing in seconds.

The guy that showed me is ex military and said he thought he would have been instantly dead.
I know it isn't really the time for jokes but this just came on my Twitter timeline

https://x.com/Jezebel/status/1965095272263926131
Friend just showed me the video, wish he hadn't. I would be absolutely amazed if he's alive. There's just no way

Edit: Not like I clicked a link. He had it on his phone and thrust it in my face saying you probably don't want to see this
You're not wrong but we are also saying it was a bad loss to the team ranked 22nd in the world but an acceptable loss to a team ranked 20th in the world.

Englands ranking at the time of the Iceland loss was 13th. At the time of the Croatia loss it was 7th (but had just recently jumped up from 12th). So similar caliber of team
