Murphiroth posted... Why not both? This might be a surprise, but some people want the more action oriented RPG that Dragon Age has been for longer than it was a CRPG. It's not like you're lacking for CRPG choices.
Why does Dragon Age need to go away just because you personally think it needs to be what it was 15 years ago?
I got into Dragon Age Origins because it was seen as a spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate 2. It was a brilliant game, but failed at cross-platform viability. Subsequent games in this series have gone to a more action-oriented style, which is fine. If I want more CRPGs, there are a ton of other games out there that I can play. There's only one Thedas, though. Can't wait to see what Varric and Solas get up to in the next game. Of course, I'm not pre ordering it. I'd be stupid to after all of the troubling development it's come through.
