Thats how WoW was for me. I started in Wrath. Took me a good 8 or 9 months to get to level 80 because I had to figure out everything on my own through exploring. When I finally killed the Lich King my guild was freaking the fuck out because I won Invincible. I didnt think it was a big deal because I assumed it was a 100% drop rate but it wasnt. iPhone 15 pro max here. It's mostly the same experience. You can sideload stuff with AltStore. Still overall app experience is slightly worse IMO if you're into anything niche. The whole thing about how apps just work better on iOS due to the more streamlined development ecosystem or whatever is just not true.
