- If you had told me that MycroProcessor wouldn't be the first out and that one of his songs would break the top twenty after my first listen to his nominations, I would've laughed for hours. As it stands, he only broke the top forty, but it's still a bit stunning that not only wasn't he the first out, but only one of his songs made the bottom thirty.

Megatron Must Be Stopped, The Shell, and Forest of Illusion were all in the bottom thirty when this began, and Exorcist below fifty. If the ranking reboot hadn't have happened, he probably would've been going very soon. As it stands, all four of his remaining songs kept crawling slowly up. They're not that bad songs once you're familiar with them. They're just really hard to listen to and understand the first time. Chaos. It was interesting having them around. The toughest thing about them was that they were all very bland when it came to rankings. Chaotic songs with a lot going on, but there's almost nothing memorable about them when I've got to recall what songs they were to jsut fit them into this puzzle. The only thing I remember from Megatron was that breaking news ticker sound a few minutes in. I'm completely bumfuzzled by what Forest of Illusion and The Shell were.

- As predicted, you are dead. Dead. Dead. Trance, techno, electronica, club. Not sure what each song nominated is, but they all feel like a mix of those four. They were long, good to listen to, but tough to remember. Suburban Train is probably my favorite of the lot and I'll enjoy listening to it every now and again, but Rise Up and Romance are both better songs. I really don't have much to say in this write-up. Everything was a long club song.

Actually, your highest ranked song wasn't even your nomination, technically. Club Mix got taken down before I could listen to it, and I didn't find it again on Youtube. Album Mix was the closest thing I had to it. Im curious how different frome ach other.

Midori Sour ~ While technically not melonade, it's close enough what with the Midori melon liquor and Sprite. A mixed drink with melon liquor, whiskey, sprite, and cherries, this drink is electrifying. The neon green color screams radioactivity and is perfect as a delicious club drink.

Damn, that's a shame.

Four times going:

#1. First night, tons of energy in audience, lots of laughter. Probably about 80-100 people.
#2. Next afternoon, dead silent, about twenty people.
#3. Week later, night, decent amount of people, some good laughs had by all
#4. Last night at our theater, eight people total, comfortable enough to talk through the movie and react audibly. Was hilarious. There was one couple where the girl was just absolutely terrified and shocked, and one friend kept saying "What the s***?!" throughout the last third. Best times ever.

The movie is much, much better with a crowd, or at least one that is free to laugh. Crowds that are tense and waiting and expecting the big scares are not fun. And I usually haaaaate when people talk during a movie, but Cabin's one of the few I recommend it for. It's a great respond and react movie.

I agree on the rituals. I want to know what Argentine horror films are like from that sasquatch looking thing.

This Wednesday's episode was such a breath of fresh air in editing with everyone getting a plot, some depth, and fleshed out alliances other than Kim/Chelsea, and then it was back to stale plotlines, bitter jury cutaways, and one character prevails tonight.

Who directed last week's episode and can we have him or her back more?

- Surprisngly addictive. I really don't know what to think. It has a nice 70s/80s feel to it, like the theme to Taxi or Welcome Back Kotter or L.A. Law. Yes, comparisons to television. It's funky, but urban. Like, it makes me think of those old helicopter shots of city skylines or the New York City streets in an 80s movie. And then it just takes a turn for the dark. Like, the song went from kind of jaunty beat on a city street, then travelled dark alley at night, and just fell through the ground into a hellish carnival. I was even sad it ended, but then there was a Part 2! I can't say that for 90% of the songs here I would so quickly, and somewhat gleefully, click for more. Sadly, Part 2 wasn't anything special and actually brings the song down in my opinion. The song is just filled with moments that make me go, "Yes, I loved that!"

- Another quick, unexpected death. To think you switched two of your songs, but they placed pretty much exactly the same anyway. You gave me some of the worst songs of anyone. Juri Theme is probably the song I've least listened to outside the top 15, even though there's two links for two separate but equally terrible versions. The classical piece has always put me to sleep. Further wants to be so much better than it is and it actually hurts realizing I kept it in the top 50. Mirage Coordinator, as you may tell by the lengthiest write-up I've given, was frustration incarnate. And Chaoz Airflow, while a good song, has been extremely elusive in pairing off with other songs to gauge its merit.

You've been one tough customer. I hope you have a tough stomach. You obtain ***Caustic Melonade***

Caustic Melonade ~ Also known as "The Melonade of Uncertainty," it's not as bad as it sounds. Made with real Switchberries and Tangleweed Seed, this Melonade won't literally melt your insides and disembowel you. It'll just feel like it sometimes. It's full of flavor: spicy, sweet, sour, salty, bitter, sugary, tart, rotten, and much much more! It's just it's never at the same time. Your taste buds will slap themselves repeatedly in confusion trying to figure out what they're tasting before, drop by drop, they change to an entirely different experience. Your stomach also won't know how to properly handle such an entertaining concoction, and there are many many times you'll feel like you drank small bombs that will explode at any second.

- This is really a song? Not a remix? I feel like I'm hearing a lot of F-Zero influence. There are definitely bits of familiarity. I don't hate it, far from it, but I just had to listen to it more than a few times to really be sure I was hearing what I was hearing. Hell, it sounds more like F-Zero than Flood Plain did!

- No. I do not like it electronic. This has some good moments, but the overall package is just an exercise in patience. There are so many things I would rather be doing or hearing than this for nearly eight minutes. Actually, after the second or third minute, this becomes really nice background music. I wouldn't listen to it on its own, but it works wonders when my mind has something else occupying its time.

There was a time when my life was filled with darkness (darkness darkness), and that was when I was ranking many of the songs lower than this one; yeah, I slipped I'm still in ranking hell. Animal is a giant earworm. I listen to this once, and I'm hearing it in my head after and even during most of the other songs. Also, Raka_Putra: Your answer to Post #157, =P. I heard that lyric just as I read your post, and it seemed mightily appropriate to the topic at hand.

- More Nico Nico? Although, the artist is Nico Nico, not the song title. Makes sense since this doesn't sound like a medley. It's alright, but the voice composition doesn't work for me. When they all band up in unison, it sounds mangled. There are even some later choruses that don't sync together well. The beat, the times the voices sound great, and the energy all ramp it up into something fun to listen to.

Why is Lambdadelta candy? It's because she's the Witch of Certainty. How does that even make sense?

Maria gave Battler the Halloween lollipop. Battler has this candy still on him when he wakes up amnesiac and may be the only thing that allows him to understand that the events on Rokkenjima really happened. It may also be why Maria is so well-remembered and well-spoken of in the story because the candy is a memory trigger for his memory of Maria. It's also one of the very few objects with its own picture and features in most of the games.

- This song is the bane of this list. Don't get me wrong, it's a good song. Solid. Not my favorite from Umineko, almost definitely not in my top ten, but it's good. But holy crap. I must have completely lost interest in the list at least four times in the middle of the song. And no, not to go and listen to more Umineko stuff and come back later like I did with Raka's nom, "I Wish," which lent to a few hours of Digital Monsters love; it may be close to last, but it's also close to my heart... tangentially. Which also applies here except without me spending a few hours listening to discolor, goldenslaughterer, dreamenddischarger, mortal stampede, Dread of the Grave, system0, Hope, Answer, Final Answer, Happiness of Marionette, discolor... and all the rest. No. I'll go play Xenoblade or read a book or watch Yu Yu Hakusho for like five minutes before leaving that too. This song does not interest me whatsoever.

On fifth listen, actually, no. I really don't like this song. I'm hoping it's been seven minutes already and the loop is ending, but no, it's only three minutes in and I just want to turn my volume off and go do something else. This is the only listen I did not ragequit before the seven minutes were up.

On twelfth listen, I had more write-up but my computer restarted.

On seventeeth play, it's worthy of the top 50, but the ceiling is reached. It's still definitely nowhere near my favorite Umineko songs, and there are times when it's only tolerable to listen, but it's not bad. Much better in-game than out, and it wins in-game use over the next entrant.

- Holy crap, this was haunting. He took The Platters and just turned everything romantic about it into just the creepiest and most wonderful thing ever. Mark Hamill is thrilling and disturbing doing this. The third time listening though... how does he know Bat's number to leave a message? If I heard this on my answering machine, I'd just run. I'd just stare at it for a full minute, and then just run crapping my pants the entire time. It used to be much higher, but the novelty wore off.

- This used to only get marks because it's good to listen to while doing something else. If I were straight listening to it, I'd have been crying from boredom. It's great background noise, but so dead on a full listen, especially for so long. So monotone. That's what I used to think. I can't help but love it now, and I'm sad to see it go. It's been bumped up since the late eighties for so long with only one thing I knew for certain: it's better than MirageCoordinator. As MC rises, so does Suburban Train, but it also wins against every past song on its own merits. Good stuff.
