I'm back! Haven't been able to watch ANY videos since the hurricane till today. Never taking fast internet for granted again.

Ohh and AGE opinions. Totally have unpopular opinions regarding it like "I like the designs" or "Ehh, art isn't bad." Well outside of cat ears. Still don't know what to think of that. Happy they put it on a guy and not a chick though. Makes me think maybe, just maybe it's not going to be a total clichefest.

Biggest offender has to be Gallarians: Ash. Saw it for $20 at a hole in the wall and thought "That was a sweet movie! Can't wait to see how the story continues." I never knew a game can actually make you feel bad before that point in my life. Bored? Sure. Mad? Sure. Outright would take a fist to the face rather then continue playing that game? Come at me bro!

MPF is about the journey, not the destination. You telling me when you saw Darkseid among the likes of Solid Snake and Batman (okay bad example >_>) you thought it wasn't worth it? Plus who doesn't want to argue who would win between the Zerg and the Green Lantern Core? Or see some of the smaller armies get paired up together somehow? I mean hell there is another topic on this board claiming that a match between two of the lower powered characters (Batman and Midboss) is the best match ever.

Honestly talking about it and thinking about it so much makes me want to really see it. If someone could give me some assistance I really don't mind trying to get it of the ground myself or handing it to someone who would.

Just throw some limits in there. No deities, characters who dwarf the armies power. Like throw the Galactic Republic without Vader or Emporor Palpatine vs Space Marines without the Emperor of Mankind. Keep summoned/tied to a being armies out like the Alucard of Hellsing's army. I unno. Can't be more of a headache then current MPFC

Watched a couple more episodes. Trying to get as many in as I can before the hurricane. Just a couple of things.
1 Amuro and Char are totally gay for eachother.
2. Blonde chick who's name I won't even remember because she's tripping death flags all over is totally annoying. Now I didn't find her annoying when she said Chartro was glaring at her (how can you tell with those things on his face?) or when she essentially told Amuro she would probably dump him down the line just because (alpha) but man when she told Camile to give up the Gundam just for Amuro's legacy and when she was telling Mirai her children are gonna come out ****ed up because she has a bad husband I just couldn't believe her. I hope Jared gets her. Dude totally deserves a kill for a the crap he got put through.
3 GAPLANT GAPLANT GAPLANT! I friggin love the Gaplant. Thing has transformation, dual beam cannons built in the arms that don't take up a large space and beam sabers. The thing is a basics god. But best of all it looks so damn cool! If there was 1 suit I could take out of the era it would be the Gaplant.
4. Last but not least they stopped saying newtype so damn much! When they do use it it actually sounds right. So happy.

Ohh and I gave up the count after like 3 episodes. Once they started beating the crap out of Bright I just couldn't keep up anymore. Show is so violent.

I have a plan! Call Sarah, do whatever was done before to get into the shower again. Listen to the whole conversation or actually take a shower seeing as how the dude's bloody and stinky. Sarah will be distracted by the same bottle thing that was done before. KILL SARAH WITH THE HAMMER AND DRIVER! Take her gun and something of hers that's identifiable. When the doctor comes sneak up and take him from behind with the gun. Get as many answers as possible before the guards get there. When they do press the button and start over. Use the identifiable object to get Sarah to really believe us and help. Granted I don't expect it to work half as well as I just put it but it's something.

Up to episode 14 of Zeta Gundam. I would've commented sooner but I always tend to watch Zeta at the end of my day and end up half asleep by the end of the second episode. Anyway I really want to like it more but some things just keep getting in the way. For one, NEWTYPE! I'm not sure why but ever time someone says newtype I want to cringe. Maybe if they used it more sparingly I wouldn't hate it so much. Then there is Emma. Now I like Emma as a person (character) but she just does/says the stupidest things sometimes. "Ohh, you made a joke about Char? He's gotta be on the ship. No he is I'm sure of it. Absolutely positively friggin sure! Now who is a great pilot with blonde hair?" or "The armor of my Rick Diaz is compromised but I'm sure I can survive entry into the earth's atmosphere!" Ugh.

That said I'm finding plenty of things to like. Camile is a douche but he's an understandable douche. Plus he's already growing out of it. I'm liking where the whole Char/Quattro things is going but it's probably just because I love Elzam/Rätsel and am thinking they are going to play it similarly. Ohh and the violence. They play it so straight that it just gets funnier and funnier. Bright hasn't even entered the fray yet either! Anyway I have high hopes for the series and the gripes I have so far are only minor and easily overcame. Now to see which model...I mean mobile suit they are going to reveal next.

Just started Zeta because I decided to watch F91 first since it's just a movie. I'll admit I was lost for a good chunk of it but I blame that on myself rather then the movie. I enjoyed it though. Defiantly like Seabook. He handled being dumped in a war better then anyone else. Wanna try to check out Crossbone Gundam to see more of him....he is in that right?

Anyway I couldn't help but remember "...you're going to be watching people punch eachother a bit more frequently than seems absolutely necessary." after seeing Camile get smacked in the first 3 min of the show. Guy must have slapped him a good 4 feet but Camile took it like a champ. Comedy gold. Gonna try to keep a smack tally to see just how slap happy this show really is.

Yeah that's why I've held out on buying Madden for so long. I know that they're just going to release a new version. Never mind having fun with old versions and getting your money out of playing them, I'm not a sucker!

Yeah too bad Madden is more like KoF. Changing mechanics and players with every iteration. This is a glorified add on. Its like buying the 2012 model of a car month before the 2013 model comes out. It's nothing but improvements but because you don't want to wait for the better version to come out you get the inferior model.

That's actually one of the best lists I've ever seen if you discount order. I'd bump Batman Begins,Hellboy 1 and MAYBE The Incredible Hulk to average and put The Puisher (2004) in Good and add a couple of the unmentioned to offensive. Dunno where I'd put Watchman and V though.

Crap I knew I was forgetting something. 0083 was my other unfinished series. I remember getting to the part where GP-01 gets upgraded and I think I just stopped there for one reason or another. Ohh and you don't have to worry about spoilers when it comes to me. I know pretty much everything that happens in my mentioned series through various games and such (still need to play those DW Gundam games though >_>). I'm a very character driven guy though so I'm sure I could enjoy the series despite knowing what's going to happen. Suppose I should clarify on my tastes a bit.

Top: Gundam 00, Wing, 8th MS
Mid: Original, Pocket, G, 0083, CCA
KIRA!: SEED

Some of the mid series are probably there because they aren't fresh in my brain though. I have my sour grapes with every season so I can't properly rank them. I'd say the Gundam series I'm completely in the dark about are V, F91, Turn A and ZZ. Speaking of ZZ watching Unicorn I do feel like I'm missing a lot and seeing you guys talk about then being heavily connected I have to ask if that's normal and if I should rewatch Unicorn after seeing ZZ?

Anyway it seems unanimous that I should go Zeta. Just for giggles I'm going to watch CCA before starting it. Before I start Zeta though anything I should know? Like stuff to skip or keep in mind as I watch.

Reading this topic makes me want to pick up a new Gundam series. Not sure what to pick up though. Wanna know what you guys think. I'm thinking either Gundam X, Gundam SEED Destiny or Zeta Gundam. I've seen Original, War in the Pocket, 8th MS Team, CCA, Wing, 00 and G in their entirety. I started SEED but Kira infuriates me to no end so I dropped it. I have been exposed to the story plenty through SRW and other sources so I feel comfortable not finishing it and starting SEED Destiny.

I can't say I can rank the series but I can say what I liked most about certain ones. I felt Wing had the best antagonists hands down and arguably the best protags. They grew the most throughout the series I felt but I liked the crew from 8th MS better as characters. 00 had the second best sets of antagonists but that's only because of a select few being awesome rather then them all being good in their own ways like in Wing. I enjoyed the Meisters for their crowning moments but other then that I didn't like them much. Hmm ohh and I didn't really like G Gundam till Domon got Burning/God Gundam. From then it was just a fun ride.

I know how each series goes so I'm not in for any surprises. I'm more in it for the journey then the destination. I picked Zeta and Gundam X because of SRW. I grew attached to Cammile/Garrod from those games and they are two series I hear very good things about. I'm not very much into 80s mecha and found very few I liked (fave was Aura Battler Dunbine) so I have my doubts with Zeta but am willing to give it a chance. SEED Desiny is the one I have the most doubts with though. I hated Kira (never let the guy have a kill in any of my playthroughs ever) and know how it ends up one big circle**** for him but I still want to give Shin a chance. Something tells me I'll like him. I have the best feeling for Gundam X but the early cancellation scares me. Soo yeah, what do you guys think I should go with? Do note I only have time for one ATM

Most of the time I too prefer to watch but this is Megaman, my favorite franchise in all of gaming. I'd prefer not to sit it out. That said if my tagging brothers and one more person would ask for an in perhaps it could be a 16 person game *hinthintnudgenudge*. If that doesn't happen and nobody wants to be replaced I'll just wait for the next one. I appreciate the offer though.

Africa. It's either the tech/cars market take big hits or precious metals/gems markets take hits. Precious materials are pretty much in ever piece of tech we have so either way tech gets hit. You know I've tried to stay a loyal fan this entire time despite the Wii not having games I want. I bought it for Monster Hunter and used the hell out of it for a while after that, Then I bought DKCR at full price like half a year after release just because I was tired of it collecting dust. Now when there are actual games I could justify buying at full price (I actually wanted Last Story more >_>) Nintendo doesn't want to release them. I'm not angry but I am jaded enough to "do naughty things" to my Wii when I get it back and play these games anyway though. I mean they made it easy enough and when it comes to the Wii Nintendo just doesn't deserve my money.

Just to expand on the weapon thing. The power and speed stats refers to the type of weapons. So someone with a high power and low speed could use weapons like the greatsword or pike well while being SOL with the twin swords. There is no way to change this outside of buying extra speed and power with SP. When you see a darkened out star on certain weapons that means you could buy the stat and that character to make them proficient with it. When a power weapon has 3 stars it gains extra range in the form of a whirlwind and a speed weapon gets what's like a jump cancel which aids in escape+combos. Men can't use/buy whips and women can't use/buy greatswords. Keep this in mind if you're trying to get all weapons. I think that combined with what's been said is pretty much everything you might want to know about weapons.
