Just got an email about some tennis clinics here in Houston THAT ARE ON CLAY COURTS!!

But the one I want to join (the intermediate one) started last week. The beginner, advanced beginner, and advanced classes all start tomorrow. Such bad luck.

I emailed them to see if I could still join because I would kill to play on clay.

If I can't join the intermediate one, I'd like to join the advanced beginner one but I honestly have no idea what to expect as far as the level of play in a class like that. Could be perfect for me, could be way too easy for me. They don't even have descriptions that include ratings like 3.5/4.0 which seems ridiculous.

I wish I had been smart and opened the email sent two weeks ago. I could be well on my way to fulfilling my dream of playing on a clay court!

My brother is in some sort of outrage about that match being rigged, and I still haven't figured out why.

I don't think anyone has really.

MURRAY up 5-1 in the fourth on CENTRE COURT.

He, my roommate, his wife, and I have also raced like 30 Grand Prixs this week.

My roommate and I weren't first-second for every race in the Grand Prix maybe 3 times.

What they don't tell you about 6 was that that was at the state track meet. It happened just a couple weeks ago. That girl had already won a title in the 1600 so she figured it wouldn't hurt to help someone finish the 3200.

Damn, that makes it even better.

She's a champion (already won an event) and a badass at the same time for helping someone.

How's the teaching thing going?

Well...I taught for a year (this most recent school year).

Then I quit because I am not a fan of that district. At all.

I have an interview tomorrow with a school in a better (and closer) district.

So, we'll see, I guess. I really want to coach as well so if I get that as well as teaching, I'll be pretty happy.
