Invader Zim revolves around the life of its lead character, Zim, his malfunctioning SIR Unit GIR and the humans and aliens who become involved in his schemes. Zim is a member of the imperialistic Irken race, an extraterrestrial species whose social hierarchy is based on height. Upon hearing of Operation Impending Doom II, Zim "quits" his exile in Foodcourtia and arrives at the Great Assigning. Here, elite Irken soldiers are chosen to become Invaders: special soldiers whose mission is to blend in with the indigenous life forms of their assigned planet, collect intelligence and prepare the planet for conquest by the Irken Armada. Zim pleads with the Tallest to assign him a planet and, in a desperate act to get Zim as far away as possible, they assign him to a presumed planet on the outskirts of their known universe that has never been explored. This "mystery planet" is Earth, and Zim's erratic attempts at world domination and/or the eradication of the human race begin when he lands on Earth for the first time.

The series begins with a young monkey-tailed boy named Goku befriending a teenage girl named Bulma. Goku later undergoes rigorous training regimes under the martial artist Master Roshi in order to fight in the World Martial Arts Tournament, a competition that attracts the most powerful fighters in the world. During his training with Roshi, he meets a Shaolin monk named Krillin, who starts out as Goku's rival classmate; however, they soon become best friends. Outside the tournaments, Goku faces diverse villains such as Emperor Pilaf, the Red Ribbon Army, and King Piccolo. Several of the enemies and rivals Goku encounters eventually become his allies.

I remember being hyped as hell for Power Rangers Zeo when it was about to come out. There was a BIG cliffhanger at the end of MMPR (I won't spoil it but those who followed it know what it is) and they were quietly building up to the new season for months.

Finally, the big day comes. Power Rangers Zeo is about to premiere and I'm over at my friend's house to watch it, when suddenly my parents come and tell me that I have to go on an errand with them. There's absolutely no reason why I would've had to go, the errand doesn't pertain to me in any way shape or form, my friend's house was right across the street so it's not like they would've had to go out of their way to pick me up afterwards (as I could just walk home), I wasn't in trouble and they didn't have any problem with me watching Power Rangers or hanging out at my friend's house, so there was basically no conceivable reason why they made me go with them.

I tried to explain that I wanted to watch this episode of Power Rangers and I've been wanting to watch it for months, but my mom replied with "well, it'll be on again eventually". I tried to explain that it was a serialized show and that if I missed this episode it would be ruined for me as soon as I saw the next one, she was like "well, that's just tough". I asked to be allowed to go home to tape the episode on our VCR, she said "No, we have to go right now, there's no time" (it was not an urgent errand, though). So yeah, I had to miss the premiere of Power Rangers Zeo that I'd been waiting to see for months for no good reason.

Sometimes I think my parents did some things when I was a kid just to troll me.

Are You Afraid of the Dark? revolves around a group of teenagers who referred to themselves as "The Midnight Society". Every week, at a secret location in the woods, one member would tell a scary story to the group. The actual story, rather than the telling, was displayed to the television viewer. The story was shown between the group's arrival at the site and their departure. Each storyteller would begin their story by saying "Submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society, I call this story..." at which point they would toss out a handful of midnight dust from a leather pouch into a campfire to heighten the flames and produce an eerie white smoke.

Justice League is based on the Justice League of America and associated comic book characters published by DC Comics. After its second season, it became Justice League Unlimited, and ran an additional two seasons. This new animated TV series brought all sorts of new characters. Ignoring the sidekicks, pets, and other elements of the earlier Super Friends show, the line-up of this new JLA adaptation was created with two things in mind: to pay tribute to the original line-up of the Justice League of America while also reflecting racial and cultural diversity. Most of the characters retained their general comic book origins and continuity, with Wonder Woman being the notable exception.

Borrowing heavily from the 1980s Canadian hit You Can't Do That on Television, All That featured a format of cold open, sketch-comedy pieces and a musical guest in its first six seasons and the final season. The cold opens took place in the green room five minutes before the show was to start. Many of the sketches were original material, although Bill Cosby, Roseanne, Steve Urkel, Ross Perot, and Bill Clinton, were impersonated by Kenan Thompson, Katrina Johnson, Angelique Bates, and Alisa Reyes, respectively. From Season 7 onward, the humor was geared more toward younger viewers than the first six seasons.

I mean, they tried to get people to stop having sex for thousands of years before they just said "**** it" and legalized the pill. It'll be the same way with diet, there'll be scare-monger doctors going on TV and telling people they'd better eat right, while secretly racing to invent the cure-all for unhealthy lifestyles. The research team who comes up with it will become Nobel Prize winners and multi-billionaires overnight.

The show was set in Chicago, Illinois, and centered on the antics of two mischievous teenagers, Kenan Rockmore (Thompson) and Kel Kimble (Mitchell). Kenan is a high school student with a job at a local grocery store, while Kel is his clumsy, orange soda-loving best friend. Episodes of the series always opened and closed with Kenan and Kel breaking the fourth wall (while still in character) and interacting with the studio audience and each other while standing in front of a red curtain that is placed in front of the main set. A frequent running gag of the openings would be Kel never knowing what the night's episode would be about and Kenan refusing to tell him. The closings would frequently feature Kenan coming up with a new scheme – often asking Kel to get assorted, various items and meet him somewhere. Frazzled, Kel would exclaim his catchphrase, "Aww, here it goes!"

In the distant future, Earth is fighting a losing war with an alien race known as the Glorft. In order to save the planet, the human resistance steals a prototype giant robot from the Glorft and modifies it, renaming it MEGAS. The idea is to use a time-traveling device to send MEGAS and its pilot, Kiva, back in time to the Battle of the Last Stand. Before the plan can be executed, however, an attack by the Glorft forces the human resistance to send MEGAS back in time before proper preparations are made, but the timedrive is accidentally damaged in the attack and, as a result, sends MEGAS all the way back to the 1930's. MEGAS languishes in a New Jersey junkyard until it ends up in the hands of two slackers, Coop and Jamie, around the year 2000. Coop turns MEGAS into a hot rod project by repainting it with a new, flaming paint job, replacing its head with a classic muscle car and naming it XLR, for eXtra Large Robot. Kiva goes back in time to retrieve MEGAS, and when she finds she is unable to pilot it because of Coop's modifications, she grudgingly decides to train Coop how to pilot MEGAS, who is now the only person who can pilot it.

He plays trombone in the school marching band. Four years younger than his brother, Little Pete is often engaged in struggles against adults and other authority figures. He is also known to make irrational decisions in response to problems, like selling the house because his brother hung out with a girl instead of him, without taking responsibility for it.

Botan informs Yusuke that his act had caught even the Underworld by surprise and that there was not yet a place made for him in either heaven or hell. After returning to life, Koenma grants Yusuke the title of "Underworld Detective", charging him with investigating supernatural activity within the human world.

Clarissa dealt with normal issues facing kids, confronting the issues as an independent freethinking teenager. The main characters in the show are Clarissa Darling, her family (consisting of her father Marshall, her mother Janet and her little brother Ferguson) and her best friend Sam living in a small suburban town in Ohio. Clarissa and Sam's relationship was a novelty on television at the time, due to few television series allowing a girl and a boy to be merely friends without romance blossoming.

Besides The Drifter, the only one who can hear him talk is Justin Taylor, who was the last kid he bullied. Now he must work alongside Justin and his family to finish his good deeds and become human once again.

The protagonist of Sailor Moon, Usagi Tsukino (Serena Tsukino in the English dub), an ordinary, ditzy, 14-year-old girl — or so she thinks — discovers a talking cat named Luna, who reveals Usagi's identity as "Sailor Moon", a special warrior with the destiny of saving the planet Earth, and later the entire galaxy. Usagi must now find the Moon Princess and protect Earth from a series of villains, beginning with the Dark Kingdom that had appeared once before, long ago, and destroyed the Kingdom of the Moon. As Usagi and Luna battle evil and search for the Moon Princess, they meet the other Sailor Senshi, incarnations of the Moon Princess' protectors, and the mysterious Tuxedo Mask.

Alex Mack is an ordinary teenage girl, living with her parents and older sister in the corporate town of Paradise Valley. After her first day of junior high school, while walking home, Alex is nearly hit by a truck from a chemical plant, and during the incident, she is drenched with a top-secret chemical called GC-161. She soon discovers that the chemical gives her strange powers. These include telekinesis, plus the ability to transmit bolts of electricity through her fingers, or morph into liquid form. However, her powers prove to be unpredictable (such as when her skin starts glowing brightly while she's nervous). She confides only in her sister Annie, and her best friend Ray, about her powers and decides to keep them a secret from everyone else, including her parents, for fear of what the chemical plant CEO, Danielle Atron, will do to her if she finds out.

Outlaw Star revolves around a group of bounty hunters who travel the galaxy in a space vessel, hunting criminals and treasure and searching for a mysterious object called the Galactic Leyline. Gene and Jim are travelling with a mysterious young woman named Melfina, whom they found in a strange box given to Gene by the infamous outlaw "Hot Ice" Hilda. They later team up with the mysterious Suzuka and a feisty Ctarl-Ctarl named Aisha. Together, the group must fulfill the Outlaw Star's purpose and find the Galactic Leyline, while evading the ruthless Kei Pirates and the dastardly MacDougall Brothers, among others.
