The problem is Romney is no different than Obama. So Rand's practically supporting Obama, in the fact that he's supporting broken, corrupt status-quo bullcrap. I'm really hoping he revokes his support, because it goes against everything his father has been teaching.

There's nothing wrong with the FDA, medicare; medicaid; social security, and government-run schools. If anything, they are great ideas and should be improved upon so standards can be high and regulated. They're essential for everyone of us.

That seems a bit naive. You say arbitrary political boundaries, but America's practically the best place for capitalism in the world. We're strongest when our middle class is largest and working, so it should only make sense to invest in that, and restore ourselves to the days when we had the most capital and could create the highest quality goods for the lowest prices.

I don't support businesses just because they're American, though. I support them because those businesses keep the money in our country. Wal-Mart is an American business, but China gets billions from them a year. And I'm sure China will get billions from AMC now too.

Sure you can get shoes cheap from a name brand that hires overseas sweatshop workers, but wouldn't it be better to invest in shoes that were made with American jobs?

I don't know if I can agree with that. I respect the free market and people's rights to choose how/where to spend their money, but I can't encourage shopping at certain places or buying certain goods that will invoke poor economical consequences.

I knew that guy looked like Jeremiah Arkham, but I couldn't figure out why he had on white face paint instead of black. FYI, I took pride in naming all the villains featured in that issue. Even the smaller Morrison ones. So this one kinda ****ed with me.

I was gone for a week, but you guys seemed to miss my point concerning the Chinese buyout of AMC. I think we shouldn't care that AMC was bought by a Chinese company, but rather we just shouldn't want to support a Chinese company. We have no problem with Chinese people supporting them financially. We would just rather support companies that create domestic jobs. The acquisition itself is not an issue.

Personally, I try to only buy American-made stuff as much as I can. Obviously it's pretty much impossible to do this with EVERYTHING, but who said there couldn't be a grey area? http://americansworking.com/
