I was moderately interested in the game until the Nintendo Direct press conference - the on rail missions look chaotic and the multiplayer looks like a blast. I don't see the need for any more storage when most media you would access on an iPad could easily be stored on the cloud, and with the places you take an iPad, you don't need a 4G network. This 'new model every year' thing isn't Apple exclusive, anyway - every company does it. Phone, car, console, TV, appliance and other manufacturers do this. No need to vilify just one company. It's up to the consumer to determine whether they need and want to upgrade. I'm still perfectly fine with my iPad 1.
