Iubaris 03/12/12 3:22:00 AM #416	Just had a 63 minute game as Vayne. We were ahead by 5-10 kills all game but every time we pushed to their inhib, we stayed too long and got caught (Blitz grabs!). So at one point we had all 3 of our inhibs down, but I could 6-shot super minions with ~2.0 attack speed, so we defended the nexus without losing any nexus turrets. Eventually we managed to push out and win the game. I ended the game 20/10/17 with 500 minion kills and 27k gold. SO MUCH MONEY. -- It's iubaris, not Lubaris.

Then she had a free week, and I knew they were going to nerf her. So I held off, and BAM, no more point to buying Cass. On the one hand, I'm happy that I still have my IP. On the other hand, I'm unhappy that I was robbed of the opportunity to play a champion I actually think is fun. I seem to have to play champions I hate far too often, for the sake of team comp. I, too, wanted to buy Cassiopeia, and after her free week I went ahead and did so. Trust me, it's worth it, she is tons of fun to play. And the nerfs really aren't too bad. A 0.1 AP ratio nerf on her Q isn't great, but it's not killer either. It won't hurt until late game, and most of the damage doesn't really come from Q at that point. The 10 damage nerf at all levels of her E will only hurt early game. Let's do some mathcrafting; this is mostly just for my benefit. Ignoring magic resist (as the percentages stay the same): starting with boots+3, I have 20 AP at level 1 with AP quints and 21 in offense masteries, so at level 2 that's probably 21ish. A level 1 Twin Fangs used to do 60 + .55 * 21 = 71.55 damage. Now you do 61.55, which is 86% of that. If you get lucky and hit QEE at level 2, let's compare damage: 1 * (75 + .921) + 2 (71.55) = 237. 1 * (75 + .821) + 2 (61.55) = 215. So a 10% reduction in damage at level 2, and that's assuming you hit 2 Twin Fangs. This is the worst case scenario for damage lost. If you only hit 1 Twin Fang, it's only a ~7% reduction. At level 3 assuming you leveled up E again, you'll have 22 AP: 1 * (75 * .9 * 22) + 2 * (106.55) = 308 1 * (75 * .8 * 22) + 2 * (96.55) = 286 This is a 7% damage reduction. If you only hit 1 Twin Fang, it's a 6% reduction. My point is that it's not too bad, at least on paper. I'll play her tomorrow and see if it really hurts her, but I don't think so. -- It's iubaris, not Lubaris.

Iubaris 02/04/12 1:53:00 AM #79	Just played a really fun game as Cassiopeia against another Cassi mid, and despite me going 3-1 by the 15 minute, bot lane was 0-8 collectively and top was 0-5. I was this close to starting a surrender vote, but I kind of forgot to, lol. Finally we got into teamfights and I got a few clutch ults that hit 3 enemies and we started to turn it around, and eventually we won! I ended up 11-4-12 , thanks to my team pulling through in peeling Riven and Volibear off me in teamfights. -- It's iubaris, not Lubaris.

I haven't done math yet, but a deathcap by itself takes you to 300 AP, and you can crack 300 AD without that much effort. Problem is, of course, that you melt under fire because you have no defensive boost...so unless you can one-touch kill, you're screwed. According to some mathcrafting I read yesterday, at 200AP and 300AD it's worth ~7.6k gold, while his old passive gave you ~5.5k at the same items. I didn't want to steal top's farm, especially since Nasus needs his Q. Didn't want to steal mid's farm, because for Ahri v Ahri I obviously didn't want to put ours at a disadvantage. I tried jungling a bit, but it was slow. I could go bot, but the second I was out of turret range I got wrecked, even though I tried getting some armor to help (against Wukong/Talon). So if I went bot, there was maybe on minion wave for me, then I'd basically be sitting on my butt again. How do you come back from a 9 minute turret kill? Stall the lane right outside your own tower. If the enemy minion wave has 4-5 extra ranged minions, it will constantly push as you last hit. (No autoattacks.) -- It's iubaris, not Lubaris.

It's pretty good lane presence and harrass, but curious if pure AD or pure AP is also viable on Teemo. For pure AD, would it be best to go IE and a couple Phantom Dancers? Is AP even worth it since his only nuke is Blinding Dart and hope that enemies walk into your shrooms? AP is mostly just a troll build, and Teemo's better with your on-hit than pure AD. Because he has such a short range (for an AD "carry"), the on-hit build gives him extra tankiness. Maybe add in a Wit's End as well for Magic Resist. -- It's iubaris, not Lubaris.
