I figured Devils +8 seemed like a no-brainer. Panthers had an inflated record in a terrible division, Devils are on fire now, just seems like a good matchup for them? Of course, the non-Capitals SE division teams always seem to go on runs in the playoffs so I'll probably eat my words.
I'm pretty confident that the Devils win that series, I'm just more confident in the other matchups

I'm proud of my Stars. Stayed in the race this long after having to trade for a player just to hit the cap floor. Owner-less for half of the season, and playing with no top D pairing (their best D pair is 2nd at best on most teams). The team has absolutely no depth due to the no ownership situation, yet they made it this far before being eliminated. Quality stuff, gentlemen.
My list of things they should do this offseason:
Get rid of Morrow (he's done. hurt the team more than he helped) Pick up some solid wingers for Benn (he was playing with Ott and Burish for most of the season. Seriously. Still almost averaged a point per game.) Get rid of Souray and Robidas (too old, and souray was near worthless the last month or 2 when it counted defensively. liabilities) Acquire a couple top tier Dmen. Weber and Suter are out there, and we have a new owner that's ready to spend with a s***load of cap space. Let's do this. If Ott and Goligoski must go, then so be it. We need some change around here (but please keep Ott).

I know that aspirin is a blood thinner, and that it's good for the heart and heart attacks, but I probably would have said the same thing as the woman. Just in case. I would have felt dumb, but I would have offered anyway.

Xcarvenger posted... except that particular match was in breach of one of the most important aspect of uoty: the topic was closed prematurely. many great users, such as myself, has failed to vote in the topic because the corrupt host has decided to close the topic before the stated end condition was reached. i motion that everyone who voted in that match to be disqualified from the raffle for participating in a match that clearly breaks one of the fundamental rules of uoty.
I 2nd this motion

If you lift your nose to it then you probably have a pretty dry sense of humor, and you probably suck. User of the year is hilarious and fun. I don't care who cares or doesn't care about it -- it's a fun board activity. Better than reading about pokemon and anime all day, though it's certainly not less lame. This board exists to me for two purposes: video game talk and entertainment. uoty provides plenty of entertainment

If you rally you're only cheating yourself. Like, how could you live with yourself knowing that the only reason you placed where you did was because you rallied? Have you no souls?!

Have I mentioned I hate Between the Buried and Me? Because I do.
That could be the write up right there but I'll try to be productive. I really don't like the style of dual guitar that gets employed in the intro here. I really don't like the production much either, although it's not TOO overly clean. And the big problem is simply that it doesn't feel coherent at all - we get switches in style and pace periodically that don't flow together at all, there's no real sense of build up to any of up. When I hit the same breakdown riff that every god damn band ever uses these days, only slightly sped up, I've had enough and stop listening.
Fair enough, it isn't for everyone, but if you stop before the last 3 minutes then you're missing the best part!

I only played two hours into it, but I was having a great time. When I have time I'm going to get back to it. The music sucks, but other than that it looked like it was going to be great.
