The reputations of celebrities are more valuable than the lives of us peasants. (But why they filmed pornography in the first place, I couldn't say.)

They probably did it for money in their early careers. Wouldn't be surprising.

Like, I think he exaggerates how much he loves Nadal and such but I think his delusion is, ultimately authentic. And Anri is, without doubt, the most obvious/obnoxious tennis fan on the board. Mana Sword and a couple of others are at a similar level of "obviousness" (basically posting a lot about it).

Anri exists. Probably the most vocal tennis fan on the board and one who constantly - and wrongly - extols Nadal as a player who challenges Federer as a sporting great, which affects B8's voice as a whole.

I have to say, Federer needs HUGE congratulations for getting back to World #1. When he lost it last time, I thought he would never be able to regain that. To maintain that desire after everything he's accomplished is insane. And you can't call this win a fluke, either (like 2009 arguably was, since Wellness Violation was injured). Nadal is his kryptonite, sure, but he beat world #1 Djokovic and Murray to win this one.

Federer literally the best ever.

Nadal's challenge now for all intents and purposes buried, especially with Djokovic splitting the slams with him in the future. Nadal's sadly injury-prone existence will ensure he can't maintain a top-level career for that much longer so that's nice at least.

Sad for Murrray, but he'll win a slam eventually I would hope. There have to be noble casualties in the glorious march of Federer towards GOATdom and destroying the morally disgusting Nadal challenge.

To expand on that, the WWE title was the centrepiece of the TLC build but I don't think it did a better job of putting over the title's importance.

And Wang's right; Bryan and Punk hugely dislike each other and value the WWE title above almost anything. When they kept fighting each other while ignoring AJ last week, only stopping because she was going to do something crazy, that was a perfect idea. They both want to prove they're better than the other (something that is very much up in the air until Punk beats Bryan decisively, something he has not yet done even in those 3 Champion vs. Champion matches they had and OtL), they both want to be the "best in the world" (having the WWE title is, in this context, supposed to be indicative of that), and AJ is a spanner in the works. She doesn't have greater importance than the title itself.

I like it.

It's actually a storyline beyond "we want title match".

I much prefer this to ADR/Miz/Punk at TLC, for instance, which was literally just "Punk is in trouble because these two guys hate him! And they want the title!" It's also a better build than ADR/Punk at SvS and Punk/Bryan at OtL as well. The Jericho feud was better than this I think but, y'know, it's Chris Jericho.
