I once sold a non ladder USEast account on eBay for 500$.

Used to play that game religiously.

I just finished it a few months back. Best game I've played this gen. Atmosphere, gameplay mechanics, story, graphics were all superb.

You should check out the Mothership Zeta DLC. Lots of really powerful weapons there. Including one that I'm pretty sure will kill those feral ghoul reavers in one shot.

Only problem is the ammo is limited.

That infamous platinum takes way longer than it should thanks to the blast shards. I was missing three the first time because I used an inaccurate map.

Got em on my second playthrough. On the second playthrough I refused to move on to the next Burrough unless I had collected all the shards from the previous one.

Back to sly Cooper, those games are under hyped IMO. Jak and Dexter and Ratchet and Clank received way more recognition but the sly games are just as good.

I'm partial to Terminator 2 myself.

But i really liked the Bourne trilogy as well.

Really the thread title should just be your favorite games this gen.

I had Fallout 3 for 2 year before i really started playing it.
Also ive spent by far the most time on Burnout Paradise. Over 500 hours.

Uncharted 2 is definitely in my top 5. Just can't decide where yet.

I can think of 4 times in my life ive gotten food poisoning from a fast food place.

White Castle once(chicken sandwiches), this Chinese place I used to eat at all the time, and steak and shake twice. The same steak n shake both times. I now believe they serve expired food to people.

I refuse to go to steak n shake anymore. Much to my girlfriends chagrin, as she loves that place for some reason.

Maybe I just looked over it but I didn't see anyone mention Fallout 3.

It is the best game of this current generation IMO and you should be able to get the Game of the Year edition on amazon brand spanking new for lest than 20$.

I played both red faction games. I could be misremembering as its been a while but i only remember the environments being about 10% destructible and the story mode being bairly linear.

I loved the single player and the multiplayer.

I really felt like you got the best of both worlds with those games.

So they dropped Timesplitters 4 because they were afraid they couldn't compete with Call of Duty so they also dropped Battlefront so they could focus all of their efforts on Homefront which is...well how about that it's another FPS.

Did some research, apparently homefront had a huge budget and needed to sell 2 million copies to break even. A quick look at VG charts has them at 2.26 million sold in a little over a year.

I haven't played the game myself. Was it any good? Sales seemed decent but can't imagine a sequel doing a whole lot better.

Me and a friend at work had a conversation about this the other night.

I'd love to see them start another story arc. I never played the first one but 2 and Future Perfect were terrific.

Put countless hours in on them both trying to finish the arcade leagues and challenges.

Some of the challenges were just nasty. Few of them that I never beat. My friend claims he had platinum medals on every one of them but I've never seen this with my own eyes. Just asked him if he was sure as im pretty positive he'd be one of the only people in the world to accomplish that. I do know at one point he was basically obsessed with those games.

Anyways, I think Timesplitters could make money. The series actually has a pretty solid following.

It's funny. About 5 minutes after I posted no glitches I ran into one.

There's a spot on mothership zeta, fairly far along, where the game progress event wouldn't trigger for some reason.

It's right after the space walk sequence. Your supposed to activate a teleporter to allow your helpers to join you. Well for some reason they wouldn't come through. Luckily I had been saving frequently. Quit game, restarted the console and picked a relatively close save point start from and it triggered.

Glad it was an easy fix.

Im playing it on PS3 btw. No glitches yet.

This game is effin' awesome btw.

I compare the feeling I got when I first stepped foot out of the vault to when I escaped Midgar on my first FFVII playthrough.

So big it's almost intimidating.

Gotta remember to start saving before hitting unmarked switches.

During the mothership zeta quests I hit a button next to a door that i assumed was for that door. Nope. Set off an alarm and was immediately swarmed by aliens and drones. Didn't die but wasted a ton of ammo and healing items with not much to show for it.

I will say these alien weapons are much more powerful than what i was using. Should make the game quite a bit easier from here on.

Building a village around an active warhead was a great idea by the way. Usually plotting revenge on an entire community takes some planning.

"gee I'm awfully sorry about that nasty bit of business on your first playthrough. Oh hey you've got some explosives training, would you do something about that bomb in the middle of town? Thanks"

I know im late to the party here but did this game seem a tad on the difficult side to anyone else?

Set it to easy and im struggling a little. Stempacks are expensive and I go through them like candy.

I actually had to start the game over at one point. Got stuck in the first town.

Stole from the doctor without knowing better and he pulled a scalpel on me. Well since I had a gun he didn't pose much of a threat and i took him out with relative ease.

I go to leave and when I open the door what seemed like the entire town was outside of the clinic waiting for me, guns and pitchforks drawn. Made the mistake of saving right after I killed the doctor and had no chance of escaping.

This may be the worst FF team I've ever drafted. Bout to go all Lou Holtz on em and see if that works.

Cokes and SirChris the lone indefeated teams left. Cokes with a pretty big points lead after this week though. Looked ahead. You guys don't play each other till week 7.

Lot of good movies on the list. It was really hard to pick those last two must see movies.

Godfather 2 is considered one of the best movies of all time and rightfully so but you really couldn't watch 2 without seeing the original.

Same with the Star Wars movies. Gotta watch em all IMO.

I still have a working copy of Bloodlines. Compared to the NES castlevania games I didn't think it was that great.

Welker dropped the fantasy football A-bomb on lots of people.

In my hundred dollar league this dude was down 61 going into that game and had Welker, Bush and Gostkowski(sp?).

Yeah he won by 2. Crazy comeback for that league. 63 pts from a running back, receiver and kicker is huge in that league. It's ppr but only a point for every 20 receiving yards instead of 10 and no total yardage bonuses. Only 2 pts for 40+ yard touchdowns.

I'm afraid to look.

Also what level were you when you fought Zio? Unless I'm looking for a challenge I always try to wait until I'm at least level 17 ish.

Great game. Easily my favorite of that generation.

I've player through 4 times. I had no idea you could equip two shields on Rune.

So far I have to say season 5 was easily my favorite.

The way Logans wife and Novick were smiling when he turned around on the podium was epic.

That season started and ended with some serious "oh s***" moments.

So basically what you're asking is, since we already have a pretty good idea who's gonna win these things why not make the rounds in between a little more interesting by playing around with seeding and matchups?

If that's the case I have no idea. You'd have to ask some of the people on here that have followed these contests more closely.

Maybe that's what cokes was hinting at with his initial response
