From: redrocket | #023 A lot of the hate would die down if Lucas would re-release the original version of the original trilogy. Instead he is literally trying to erase it from history.
This is definitely the worse offense of the two.

From: Emporer_Kazbar | #015 Hey now, apparently "mack" actually means "flirt" in some parts of the country (where, I guess, people just consider making out on the same level as flirting!)
When you lose your virginity at 12 to a girl covered in pizza sauce, just making out would seem a little tame.

You can transfer the console license to a different console, but I *THINK* you have to do that for ALL your content to the SAME console, you can't just pick and choose this game to this console, that game to that console, and keep the rest on your console. It stays tied to your account too. It's really just intended for transferring things over if you have to replace your Xbox, not for giving it to a different person.

From: AsurasKordoth | #040 What was the giant snake thing at the very end? Something to do with a known villain or just... a random giant robot snake thing.
It's probably Jörmungandr the World Serpent.

I was thinking about it and I kinda wonder if I might actually make it farther in real life than in the game. It all depends on whether or not things that kill you in the game would kill you even if they might not in real life. Like I wasn't sure I could jump Donkey Kong's barrels, but then I thought, would a barrel rolling along the ground at me be able to KILL me? I mean it kills Mario but if we're talking about what would really happen then I don't know. I mean I'm sure I'd be hurt but I think I wouldn't just die from it.
-- SuperNiceDog may be the Guru Champion... But SuperBowlGiants are the NFL Champions!
Not sure I could jump over a barrel, but if I was able to use the hammers and ladders to not have to jump over any I could make it to the top. If I were playing the version with the cement factory put back in, I could probably clear that one. I doubt I could make the jumps on & off the elevators but I guess it depends how far they really are. If I could make those jumps and clear the elevator screen I think I could definitely clear the rivets screen.
So I'd probably die on the barrels screen once it got sped up too much, which is basically what happens in the actual game. I just probably wouldn't make it for as many cycles through the stages as I can in the game.

The Episode II asteroid chase was okay, but it was only two ships and neither one got BLOWED UP. It was a different kind of space battle, and it would have been acceptable if the Battles of Naboo and Coruscant had been given the kind of treatment Yavin and Endor got. But we never really got a big space battle that was given focus, and instead we got weighed down with lightsaber duel after lightsaber duel after lightsaber duel.
Seriously, I think III had more duels than the entire rest of the series combined.

From: Forceful_Dragon | #025 Episode 5 = Battle against the AT-ATs on Hoth. Not quite an "outer space dogfight" but it still captures the desperate battle feeling you get in episode 4.
Don't forget the ASTEROID FIELD!!
Not quite the same thing as Battles of Yavin and Endor, but it was pretty cool and given that we also got Battle of Hoth in the same movie, I call it good enough.

From: Liquid Wiind | #020 unusual but I'm agreeing with EODO here, I-III are dumb sci-fi/action movies and there's nothing wrong with that. you still get light saber fights and john williams being john ****ing williams
don't be hatin!
But there's no good SPACE BATTLES! I could not give less of a **** about lightsabers and the Jedi who swing them. I came to see awesome starfighter dogfighting like only Star Wars can give you, and I got bupkis.
The really ****ty thing is that Episodes I and III have scenes that take place WITHIN awesome space battles, but instead of focusing on the battle we spend our time watching Anakin do boring crap.
-- SuperNiceDog may be the Guru Champion... But SuperBowlGiants are the NFL Champions!
That article about why Episode I is irrelevant was exactly what I thought when the movies were coming out. A lot of the problems Episodes II and III had were a result of poor pacing; they had to cram three movies into two because they dicked around doing nothing in the first one.

From: ViviffTheMobile | #004 "I'm out of town" is bulletproof.
This is the best. And while it might SEEM unbelievable that you'd be out of town EVERY time they call you, if you stick to it every time, it becomes real. They just start to see you as the guy who travels a lot.
It's like calling in sick to work when you just don't wanna go. If you never do it, and come in when you actually ARE sick, when you call in sick randomly no one will believe you. But if you call in sick every so often, they'll stop doubting it and just be like yeah that guy's health isn't the best.

This reminds me of the time when, during a D&D session, someone said something that was pretty close to a line in Lean On Me, and we all just started singing it at the same time. And then we suddenly stopped when we got to the end of the verse, and right after that one of our other friends comes in and is like, am I crazy because I could have sworn I heard you all singing Lean On Me but we weren't anymore.

From: agesboy | #001 (124): Last night, my friend changed all my contacts in my phone. I have been texted by Batman, Donatello, and Hermione Granger. I have no idea who they are, and it doesn't upset me at all.
I like this one. Especially if he also changed the pictures the caller ID displays which I am assuming he did.

I'd say it would be better if the Rumble winner got his shot at Elimination Chamber, 1-on-1. It places more value on the Rumble since instead of getting the first crack at the unified title, they get the easiest shot to make it into the unification match. Granted, it's a little worse really since it requires them to win two matches instead of just one to be unified champ, but the value of being in the unification match at Wrestlemania instead of in a random title match at Extreme Rules, plus the prestige of possibly being the first champion to hold the new unified title instead of the second, makes up for it.

From: JaKyL25 | #183 How about Hogan vs. Andre? Ever seen that? Same sort of deal.
I'm not sure. I've seen clips of it but I can't recall if I've ever seen the whole thing.
I'm really bad at caring about these supposed "big" matches. Especially when they're non-title and with no other consequences on the line. I just don't care about whether Cena wins or Rock wins, because either way nothing changes. Rock wins, he leaves again and Cena moves on to his next feud, probably going for the title again sooner rather than later. Cena wins and... the exact same thing happens? Who cares!
-- SuperNiceDog may be the Guru Champion... But SuperBowlGiants are the NFL Champions!
It's only an incredible event if you care about at least one of them though. Instead it's just a bunch of people I don't care about wasting time.
Although I've never seen Hogan/Rock, but there's another match between two guys I couldn't care less about. I can't imagine why I would possibly care about any of it.
