Melodeath is much better than the "brutal" styles as there's good guitarwork and growling vocals that flow well without sounding like random chaos or "LUK AT ME I CAN PLAY ALL CHORDS RANDOMLY AT THE SAME TIME FAST"...this song itself was decent, and it is the style of music I aim at)

Dropkick Murphys - Famous for Nothing (yeah...the band's sound is actually much unique then you think and has deeper punk rock roots than one would imagine)
Bon Jovi - Livin' On A Prayer (the song to sing when you're almost there, maybe cheesy, but **** it, 2nd tier song for me)

WELL WORTH THE LISTEN
Florence + The Machine - Blinding (the music sounds good...I'm not really digging her vocal style though)
Makoto Yoshimori - Their Aspirations (from Durarara!!) (relaxing)
Pocket Tanks - Fabric of Time (it's good, nothing spectacular though)
Foster the People - Houdini (sounds different than Pumped up Kicks...not sure if it is better though)
Curtis Mayfield - Pusherman (I'm assuming the next 3 songs you post Chinballz will have a "pull" theme to them, eh? Cool song)
Paul Engemann - Scarface (Push It To The Limit) (Scarface anyone? Fun song where your safety is not guaranteed)
Steppenwolf - The Pusher (decent)
Bloodhound Gang - Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss (catchy and fun)
Good Charlotte - The Story of My Old Man (must be their old era where they had much more skate punk roots...it's good to listen to I guess...can't say the rest for their later songs)
Hall and Oates - I Can't Go For That (No Can Do) (cool)
Akira Yamaoka - Always On My Mind (a cover...not bad for it...good reimagining with an industrial sound)
Akira Yamaoka - Room of Angel (sounded pretty good. soft and somber...not enough to make it to the next tier)
Nightwish - Fantasmic (good song, structured well)
Rammstein - Mein Teil (strange song....I read about what the song is really about...it's not suitable to discuss here)
Takeharu Ishimoto - Emptiness And (from TWEWY) (the song flows well, a j-rock feel to it)
Daisuke Ishiwatari - Gluttony Fang (BB:CS) (decent song...something is preventing it from being in tier 2 IMO for some reason, and I can't figure it out)
Motohiro Kawashima - Fuze (SoR3) (Yeah, Streets of Rage had some decent songs...this isn't really one of my faves from the series though)
Cypress Hill - Illusions (cool song)

Tabolomegalo - Simple Wave (post-rock instrumentals tend to be extremely miss with me)

Takeharu Ishimoto - Controlling the Iron Beast (the metaly sound to it was good...but everything else felt stale)
