I like owner goals actually. I like responding to things, so the added restrictions are actually the draw of starting as booker for me. I know as well as anybody how jerky they can be about contracts, though, although that one patch seems to have helped.

Hm. This is an interesting choice. If I evade the question about my condition, that's kinda mean, but if I talk about it....well, actually I'm not sure what the downside is there. I'm curious how Rin will react though. Would keeping quiet make her feel special since I was able to talk to her? Or will my being cagey be somehow disappointing to somebody of her frank nature? .....Eh, I'll go ahead and talk. It occurs to me. I have an uncharacteristic spread of reactions to the heroines so far. Usually with stuff like this, there's one girl I really like a lot, a couple more I kinda like, and the rest I'm kinda apathetic about. So far here, Rin, Hanako, and Lily are all kinda on that top waifu-ish tier, especially if I can manage to divorce myself from my girlfriend-related Rin loyalty, with only Emi in the "kinda cool" pile and Shizune garnering a much more negative reaction than I ever really have to harem options.
Hm, where to go? Town probably gives me Lily, while library might give me Hanako or....that's about it really. Eh, whatever, I'm playing as me (sorta) and I am more likely to kill time at a library than in town.

From the Bookerman: -The nice thing about B-shows like Superstars is that you can make them as sucky as you want and it won't hurt you any. I plan to take advantage of that and get my undercard some exposure. It's the only chance some of these guys will have. -This is how Superstars will generally work- random cross-brand throwaway matches with little storyline. Just wrestling. In the near future, I'm turning it into NXT, but for now it's just the reject corner. -Which will be a bit awkward, actually. Our Product settings require 15 minutes for ME matches, but the crowd didn't enjoy seeing 16 minutes of Bryan/Slater because they're only midcard. Might have to bring in some bigger names for the ME, then. -...oh lawd I forgot how much the steroids thing sucks for WWE

Alrighty, let's see what we got here. I remember enjoying the demo a long time ago, but I don't remember it very well beyond basics of the main characters, nor have I been super wrapped up in the development and hype and stuff.
I'm kinda impressed by the art on the prologue. I'd expect weaker production values on a shareware game, although I guess they DID kinda spend five years on it or something.
For some reason, I am gonna be kinda sad when/if Iwanako is never relevant to anything again. It was all cute and stuff!
I'd forgotten about Mutou, but as soon as I see him I remember liking him. I don't remember why, though. We'll find out?

I think I'm gonna mostly be playing "as myself" for the first round, although given a straightforward choice I am highly likely to go for Rin because I'm already 80% sure she's going to be my favorite just from what bits I remember.

Shizune! I remember being pretty hyped for her when I tried the demo, and then realizing she was kinda a jerk.
Hisao is one of those characters like Shinji Ikari. He has decent enough reasons to whine about things and has been dealt a rough hand in life....but I still have a pretty low tolerance for whiny emo kids, especially when they're main characters. He's already on my nerves and I'm not five minutes in.
I like the strikethrough text for not-shizune. Since the time I played the demo, I made good friends with a guy who is an ASL interpreter, so that could make interactions with Shizune and wahaha kinda interesting I guess.
