- **** installers. Seriously. **** them. - The garden! Battler trying to figure out Beatrice's old moves while Beatrice's hair is let down and is dead-eyed like a ragdoll or a Goldsmith. - Battler promised to let Beatrice die peacefully. The only way to do that would be to solve the games. With Beatrice silent and Battler confused by her confusing moves, we're at an impasse. - I don't remember whether I disliked Lmbdadelta or not, but I don't like her as the next game master. I do like a new witch with some new perspective, but Lambda? Well, Bernkastel wouldn't be any fun, would she? Bah. - Damn, that's cold. Bern is a *****. And now she smiles. Oh how pleasant it is to mock someone's future. - Let's see here... looks like Gaap's coming back ffff, Bern's also "the witch who knows that miracles don't occur" and though her goal is to defeat Beatrice she couldn't care less about Battler. - Battler seems to have some new expressions. Also, BACK TURN! Hell yeah, Battler. Let Bern and Lambda duel this out. - XD Virgilia. "You can't use chess pieces to play cards, but throwing them at people or scribbling on the board? Blasphemous, but it can be done." You can't be playin' no checkers on a chessboard, yo! Reminds me of playing chess using dry erase markers... which ended up with a Gamma Irradiated Wolverine taking down Goku after my opponent set off a nuclear bomb on my side. Good times. Got in trouble for using up the teacher's markers, but it was totally worth it. - Bronove!!! - Wait... what? The first murder already? But... it's... it's not even ten minutes into the episode!!! - "It did not... have love." So... basically like a new guy taking over someone else's project. Or like most of Sonic's games in the 2000s. - Huh. And so Battler's going back already. That was... fast. Well... first murder already occurred so...
- Six people dead. Jessica, George, Hideyoshi, Genji, Rosa, and Maria. Likely we're just after the second twilight. Jessica was slashed through the neck in the... guesthouse? Ooh, intriguing. Rarely has the guest house been the scene of crimes. Rosa, Maria, and George all the same. Genji's death was in the mansion in the servants' room. Hideyoshi's the most intriguing. A Demon Stake already? In the back? Face down in the mansion guest room? Hmm... - With one exception? Does it have anything to do with Pissed-off Natsuhi? - Wait, WHO THE HELL IS THAT?
Looks like things are all patched up! I'll probably start playing tomorrow. Sorry to continue to keep you all waiting, but I'm still coming down off a nostalgia high started by an amazing, amazing, amazing Gokaiger episode and not even the beginning of a Dragonball write-up. I've got at least five rankings list I want to read, at least ten songs to get out of my head ("Why are you in my head, Digimon? Whyyyy?!"), and hopefully a Dragonball write-up to finish.
And if I get it out of my system now, I'll definitely probably most likely not have anything standing in my way tomorrow morning when Episode 5 begins.

I had never heard of him personally, but will now read up on him.
Well that's to be expected. He's "The Greatest Hero You've Never Heard Of."
My recommendations:
MUST-READS: - 52 (2006). 52 is pretty much the launching point for Booster Gold's current popularity, tells some amazing stories, and is the biggest reason I'm a DC fan now when I barely even touched a DC comic four years ago. - Booster Gold (2007). Booster Gold is to 52 as Nova is to Annihilation. He gets the amazing ongoing. - - Justice League International (1987). It's hilarious and in the top two of Justice Leagues (Grant Morrison's JLA is a tough competitor). It's amazing for a while, but by about Breakdowns (1991/1992), it's dodgy. I wouldn't quit until 1993 after Doomsday.
BACKSTORY: - Booster Gold v1 (1986). I haven't read it, but it establishes a lot of the hero or non-hero Booster once was. - Super Buddies (Formerly Known as the Justice League (2003), I Can't Believe It's Not the Justice League (2005) ). More silly adventures of the core JLI guys. - Countdown to Infinite Crisis, The OMAC Project, & Infinite Crisis (2005). Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, and Maxwell Lord feature heavily and is the basis for 52. - Justice League: Generation Lost (2010). Booster Gold & the JLI. Great read most of the time.
OTHER: - Brightest Day (Justice League: Generation Lost) - Identity Crisis (52, Super Buddies =( )
NON COMIC: - Justice League Unlimited, "The Greatest Story Never Told" - Smallville, "Booster"

Wow. Board 8 seriously dropped the ball on this one. Dumbo and Yugi get in over these two? COME ON!
Seriously. It's part of what frustrates me on a lot of character contests on the board that include or are exclusive to television shows and their characters. You could have President Bartlett, Arthur Fonzarelli, Omar Little, John Locke, Troy Barnes, and Chuckie Finster in a bracket and it's a guarantee Chuckie advances over all of them. Likewise, Doug Funnie, Darkwing Duck, TJ Dettweiler, Rocko Wallaby, Wakko, and Angel in one match and Angel would still be in fourth.

Just think, we got out of that game easy. Yeah, Hudson may have given up, what, 4 runs? We'd be down 4-23 if Papelbon was sent in!

Gallardo looked terrible. His first two at bats and he walks them? Hell, Troy Tulowitzki walked 4-4 until where I'm at right now which is a 2-2 count at the end of video three. Anticipation! Will Tulowitzki go 0 for 0 tonight or will something happen? But man, what a horrible game for Gallardo. He was scared of those batters, and yet no home runs all night..

Lester was poor throughout. I'm used to pitchers playing amazingly well for a few innings before giving up six runs in a row in like the fifth. This is the second game in a row where the pitcher's been meh. But maybe it's Starscream & Fenway lining up well.

"Stop being so impatient. Let's just wait for CJayC to put up the Quotes Contest bracket and decide based on those results." - Ngamer, 11/18/2010
NOTE TO MANIAC: Wrote this up last night after the game and just have to post it. I don't mean to steal your thunder any, and you've definitely made a better piece with the one paragraph than I did with six that ramble on.
Wow! When I saw there were four videos all over ten minutes when putting up the second video, I was 100% certain the game was going to go into extra innings off a pitching duel. It had already been about three or four innings with a few hits each. Hell, Dempster was going hitless until the fifth! Low scoring, low hitting, probably goes on for about twelve or thirteen innings with two runs at most.
Then the seventh inning happened. Four pitches in a row were taken shallow to left field for a single. Once we started getting some momentum going, it lasts only a second as Prado then throws wild and another run scores. It wouldn't have mattered too much because Stephen Drew hit a three-run slam over the left field wall to make it a 6-1 game. Hudson came in and gave up a few hits, but finished the inning before any more damage could be done.
It is now the 7th inning stretch and there's about twenty minutes left in the game. There are four scenarios I can fathom: - Best Scenario: We tie it up in three innings 6-6 or more and go into extra innings. Chance of happening? Slim to none. - Likely Scenario: Most at-bats go to full count, my guys close up close with a bunch of singles, there are many unintentional walks, pitcher hates the guy at first and throws to him constantly, and many other ways to slow the game down. Demigods still lose, but they maybe get some hits in and give it a good fighting chance. - It Could Happen: the game froze up once for a good twenty-plus seconds throwing from CF to home in the second or third vid. It could happen again and that's where the extra chunk of time is. We lose 6-1. - Alec is Evil: The last video is a decoy because he knows I watch and write-up these. The game really ends in the third vid, he just threw that one up to give me (or Darunia) false hope. With the fourth vid's picture the box scores? Probable.
Guess which one happened? We managed to get two runs in the bottom of the seventh, with I believe Mauer lining out leaving two people stranded. In the eighth, Rios swings a three-run homer of his own which was incredible with two outs and Theriot striking out like this was when Hunter was injured. 6-6 going into the ninth. Now, Dempster may have played a great game only to collapse in the seventh, but Kuo is the MVP. He smoked the Gorons. I swear, if Papelbon were there, the only way the Demigods could have won is if he decided/managed to get people out after already loading the bases.
I honestly don't remember how we won. I'm completely stunned by the victory, just like Alec was from 4-8:22 on. Yeah, it wasn't just the 6-6 scenario happening; Alec filled up half the fourth video with stunned, trolling silence.
*Desmondface*
Just based on box scores of the other games, this one has to be game of the week. No question about it. I doubt our teams would have a player MVP for pitcher or batter, but it has to be game of the week. We had a pitching duel, some of the best overall defense in weeks, nailbiting innings with plenty of people on second and/or third with two outs, a comeback victory, and extra innings. Thirteen runs total is always a good thing to have for entertainment.

Likely going out tonight and also planning to watch NCIS, Goukaiger, do some more VGMusic Bracket Predix, read the book I just took out yesterday, and hopefully get one or two shows done in my rankings before then.
I can't remember the last time I've played a video game.

"yeah but i seriously doubt anybody ... is going to be casually browsing through someone's credit report between bites of a baconator" - Ryoko
__Smurf__ posted... There's no evidence that bin laden was even alive for this long. It was in the Bush led militarys interest to ensure the public believed he was still alive to justify his military efforts presumably for another purpose hence confirming or perhaps manufacturing tapes of him as legitimate. While also being an election boost for his party if the American public believe there are terrorist threats at large.
If that was the case it may have been in Obama's interest the end the charade at an appropriate moment. It supports his re-election campaign while marking the start of closure to military actions in that part of the world, which is in the democrats interest.
Essentially for the past 10 years bin laden has been the perfect tool for whatever party is in government. His existence at any point could be neither confirmed nor denied but his supposed existence for 10 years was a powerful tool for fear and a desire for revenge to Americans and now his supposed death will bring a sense of closure and retribution. I'm skeptical but America has earned that.
Hi there Krauss. Give us 10 million each please.
