Then everyone else in the room starts going crazy, Beatrice cackling, and ending up Kinzofaced themselves before/as they die. Beatrice comes in wearing a jester's costume and calls Kinzo 'puddin'.

PREVIOUSLY ON ROKKENJIMA...

I have no clue.

Summarizing what I remember before I go back and look:

1) It's Episode 4 and ANGE has joined the Tea Party. Everybody from last game, like Virgilia and the wisecracking butler, are still around.
2) Maria's not only been crowned a witch, but "Kinzo" and his ****ing crazy nightmarish face is now "Goldsmith" and an able magic-user, as opposed to Ushiromiya Kinzo who made a pact with Maria once upon a time but couldn't do **** with magic since.
3) The events of Ange's story are a continuation of Eva's game three story. There have also been three texts on what happened in Rokkenjima based on the three separate games played thus far.
4) Kyrie's sister is evil, apparently.
5) Ange is the most boring storyteller in the world. Her flashbacks are worse than Charlie's and Kate's (and Jack's tattoos).
6) Rokkenjima Game 3 -> Ange grows up with Eva -> Ange reads Maria's diary and gets into magic -> Ange denies magic -> Eva dies and Ange is on the run -> Bernkastel elects Ange to save Battler and her family in 1986 -> Ange and Amakusa(?) head to Rokkenjima -> Ange accepts magic again in her mission to deny Beatrice -> ??? -> ANGE in 1986 saves Battler at the end of Game 3 -> Game 4 begins -> ANGE takes a break to flashback on everything, EVERYTHING, in her past -> Lambdadelta interrupts with epic soundtrack and puts doubt into ANGE's mind -> ???
7) Blue text is... something or other.

Looking back:

1) Holy ****, it's only been a month since Angel?! What? We've finished all of Firefly and Dollhouse and half of Season 1 of The Wire in under a month, plus four movies of varying quality and at least eight hours of combined Youtube browsing?!
2) Beezlebub & Battler playing in tea room top-tier still.
3) I should probably take notes of all that happened in the Ange stuff since

I didn't much like it the first time, but rereading it it's not so bad.

Also, I have to warn you. If you have any intention of solving the mystery at all, don't skip the non-gameboard stuff, in fact pay close attention to it.

Probably the number one reason why people don't get/misunderstand the answer.

10) - The truth of the future trumps the truth of the past, and knowing is half the battle. Multiple viewpoints for the win.

I made my way through the base to find the secret gold and rescued Kyrie from his evil double. Now I just have to wait for him to recover while I pad the time with character growth and strengthened relationships. Battler's also now boning Natsuhi, Eva, and is best friends with Sakutaro. Still having trouble with... uh... hmm... who would Chie be?

12 YEARS LATER:

- Ange and the badass limo driver are on a boat.
- Okay, so... what's the timeline here? Are we just following Ange around? Is it linear with Ange flashing back to the future where she reads Maria's past and we'll find out how Ange joined the game at the end of it? It's been over a month since I started this chapter. Geez.
- "But after several days passed, my excitement died down." You're gorram right!
- Huh, this city backdrop reminds me of Toonami's... Advanced Robotics? Or Mad Rhetoric? Just that first scene with the three pictures, this is that city.
- Some good convos on self-satisfaction.
- Lesson of the story, Ange needs to be satisfied by just being a pawn in the game who will die satisfied that she helped Battler break out of the game.
- Okay, this wasn't too bad.
- Whole boat trip's been great. Thoroughly confused by what it's trying to tell me, sure, but it's excellent.

- Ohhhhhhhhhh ****! Kyrie's evil sister! Epic soundtrack. And a gun!

What started as a low-scoring game turned into
But it was definitely exciting. For the first five innings, Billingsley gave up no hits or walks and struck out six batters, even taking out the first three in the first inning. In the sixth, he started giving things up, fully loading the bases before his first out and then giving up 4 runs in 7 at-bats. On the other side, New York's batters got on base once in the first four innings, and that person would immediately steal second, aside from Wright. They never capitalized on these though.

- Alright, so alternate realities exist. Fantastic.
- ANGE isn't Ange. She's just a piece on the chessboard. Whatever happens to his game, if ANGE can help Battler survive, he'll go back to his own 1986 timestream while ANGE's 1998 doesn't get Battler back. It isn't whatever happened, happened, it's... I dunno. I suddenly feel like reading some X-Men and watching Donnie Darko though. There's definitely some plot nagging me where the hero finally decides that it didn't matter if it was his world that got him back just so long as he was back somewhere else and destroys his own timeline or something. No idea what it's from though.
- Which all goes back to my earlier point how the way to solve all this is to solve the first game. If that game is solved, all games after no longer matter.

- Which will be when ANGE gets that Big Damn Heroes moment and saves the day so Battler can live with 1986 Ange, right?

- Oh, Lambdadelta. No, there's no prize at the end of the fight. ANGE doesn't bring Battler back from death and live with him. Her life before doesn't change. She's still stuck as Game #3 girl with Eva and prison school. However, there IS a reward. That's helping her brother. The experience alone should be enough. To know that you helped your brother and saved his life? That's a damn fine prize in itself. Don't be fooled by Lambdadelta's hyping up everything and twisting your viewpoint around. Not that there's anything I can do but keep pressing the damn button.
- Though, if Battler wins, ANGE no longer exists since Game #3 doesn't... except she would, wouldn't she? Not as a part of Battler's timeline, but her own. Like how Virgilia could still look back on herself being killed and still be alive in the tea party or some ****. I hate magic. I hate time travel. Magical time travel? Why? Why?
- Oh god, I feel so bad for those ancient kings. Did they have to build giant pumpkins out of stone? Paint everything pink and put bows everywhere? Poor guys got screwed.
- Ha! If it weren't for Bernkastel, the game would be over. Beatrice would've won though and that's no good. Excellent three-sided conflict.
- Uh, deadlock would've been broken if Ange weren't brought in to stop Battler from signing >__>. But Bern loses there. Fa, it's useless to argue when you can't even be heard.
- ANGE can't lose and won't be rewarded when she wins. I like it.

Okay, that was awesome.
