I'll be the savior here to answer your question. I was the king at the "Save My" contests here at B8 back in the day.

1. I would say no. Since there would be a good 40 or so more games included in the contest I think it would get monotonous and boring in the first few rounds as those games would be nothing but filler in the contest and be some of the first out. I would expect the final involving a combination of Shut Your Mouth/Here Comes The Pain/DOR1/SVR06/No Mercy. All of those "other" wrestling games would just get in the way.

2. Yes.

That's true. And in terms of monotonous and filler, I wasn't going to include handheld versions of games, but I suppose I should also take out the original games for the Game Boy Advance (Road To Wrestlemania/RTW X8/Survivor Series) as well as WWE Aftershock for the N-Gage. (lol)

That was because there was a ton of people in that. That was like 6th in a series of championship contests, where the first 5 went quite well.

It's generally considered to be the greatest film because of all the technical stuff in it that it invented, not necessarily because of how much people enjoy it.

When I first saw it, I had high hopes and was left feeling a little empty, so I had to ask someone why the movie was considered great. That was basically what they said.

Not only was there a contract on a pole match, but it ended in a very Russo-esque way: Ziggler grabbed the contract, but it dropped into the ring, and both he and Del Rio fumbled over it for like a minute. Not even Ricardo could hold a good grasp onto it.

Ultima was a good series, it definitely got better with each sequal (except for 8). 1-5 were good, but I don't know if they've aged well. 6 is really good, a fun open ended world to explore. 7 I haven't really played, but I hear it's just a better version of 6. 8 was a little off, and I think a little glitchy.

Wing Commander 2 is fun, the only one I've played, good space shooter, and it actually had a story, I liked that.

Yeah, stats are fun stuff. I've wanted to do something like this too, I considered doing it at the end of 2009 (end of a decade, seemed like a good benchmark) but never got around to it.

Also, for anyone else working, I took the liberty of compiling some pure stats, adding together WWE and WHC reigns for anyone who has won both:

Randy Orton - 9 reigns, 558 days
Edge - 11 reigns, 548 days
John Cena - 12 reigns, 1163 days
Triple H - 13 reigns, 1155 days
Batista - 6 reigns, 544 days
Undertaker - 7 reigns, 445 days
CM Punk - 5 reigns, 381 days
Kane - 2 reigns, 155 days
Rey Mysterio - 3 reigns, 140.1 days
Chris Jericho - 4 reigns, 204 days
Kurt Angle - 5 reigns, 379 days
Sheamus - 3 reigns, 222 days
Jeff Hardy - 3 reigns, 70 days

In the case of active champs Punk and Sheamus, the days count up to today (Friday), so they'll obviously get higher.

If we're going Real Metricy, also divide the reign value by the number of World Titles in the company at the time.

I.E. Being the Undisputed Champion of your company is worth more than possessing only half of the "True" World Championship.

With that, Triple H's reigns count as 9, and his number is 10395, so he would dip below Hogan. Edge and Orton dip below Backlund, and Cena is 6978, below Sammartino.

...I think I like this.

I think 'successful defenses' would be hard to find complete information for, especially for old school guys. I'm assuming that one of the reasons you want a system is to compare guys like Sammartino and Backlund to guys like Orton and Edge. I say try the first two, and see how it goes.

I would like to praise you for completing this giant task, as it would maybe have taken me a lot longer than 6 months if I had tried it. Also, kudos on rating Time Chasers, Overdrawn, and Werewolf (my 3 favorites) really high. It makes me want to grab one of the volumes of MST3K off the shelf and start watching. (Of which I own 16 volumes, but I have a feeling you could beat that number.)

In other news, this is the most "Only in TNA" story I've ever read:

-According to a source within TNA, a major issue which lead to tension between Ric Flair and TNA was the handling of the Gut Check segment on Impact featuring Alex Silva. So basically we have to buy things with pennies. That's a problem, because what's the most expensive thing you can buy where they'll accept pennies for it? The price of that can't be more than a dollar. Maybe some candy at a local store, maybe not even full size candy bars, like the mini candies on top of the counter that's 20/25 cents. And you can't go there TOO many times, because they'll either get sick of you, or be overloaded with pennies. So maybe melting them for the metals is the best option.
