You see that insult to grammar I tacked onto the beginning of the sentence? See that? That's saying he's not the worst. But his status as the dorkiest of dork protagonists deserves mention.

I am going to be completely honest with you and say that I don't think I actually read the "hard to say the worst part."

My eyes lit up when I saw mention of Arc the Lad and I just missed it.

This is a great idea.

I exclusively play Shining Force games FE style now though.

I don't mean if they die, I leave them dead. I just mean I never let anyone die. If someone were to die, I have to reset.

Just a personal matter of honor for me.

For SFIII, it's because they lose a full friendship level with every person if they die.

For SFII, it's because I can't have them showing a "Defeat" on their profile.

For SF, it's because I've played it a billion times and dying is not an option.
