I'm in an online association with a bunch of Metal Gear Online players--there's like 12 or 13 of us--and we're just entering the playoffs of the first season. It was a fantasy draft. We're looking to find new people to join for the off-season and second season, and there's plenty of great teams left (many of which with high picks in the draft). Anybody interested?

You can PSN me: Futuresuperstar

We're just looking for active 2k12 players.

Talk about a hiatus. I remember that I was either a freshman or sophomore in high school--I believe sophomore--when Gabriel Cartyre was facing someone in the finas. So that must have been CAC4, right? So that means CAC5 probably took place that summer or somethin', who knows. Either way, more than likely, the last full CAC I ran was in 2006. Talk about a hiatus.

I actually don't think CAC6 ever happened. We prepared for it, but we had so few entries that year and I was getting busy with school and we just called it. CAC5 was the last complete one. CAC3 was by the far the most popular one.

Good stuff man. There's only one thing I kind of dislike about it and that's the fact that on the synth sound (I guess the string parts?) you like to use the pitch shifter and I don't think it fits this type of music.

You should submit something for the board 8 album!

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/62678301

It's actual not a pitch shifter. It's just supposed to be a slide from one note to the next. Digital audio... sorta FAILS at slides, to say the least.

I like the piano parts, but at the same time....I don't wanna say "it's all over the place", but the whole thing kinda felt....unfocused. It seemed like some of the transitions in tempo and mood weren't as smooth as they could be. Just my uneducated "classic casual" thought. Again though, the music itself was great.

Yeah, the tempo transitions aren't perfect since the program just sorts of speeds up and slows down without any real motive behind it like in a live performance. Specifically at 1:36. Should have gradually sped up a bit more rather than so suddenly. Thanks for the input!

Yeah, obviously I would like it to have been bigger. But, realistically, you only need about 40 people in a sample for reliable results, provided the sample is truly representative of the population.

Also, the professors were urging me to stick to no more than 200 respondents, so I'm glad I got it as large as I did.

So does that mean, if there were no straight guys and like two gay guys who wore makeup, that the correlation would be weak?

While the sample size there would be extremely small and not really worth anything, in your example, the correlation between sexuality and wearing makeup would be very strong.

Here, you can't look at it as full numbers. 2 gay guys means nothing. You basically compare the percentage of gay men who wear makeup against the percentage of straight men who do. If that difference is statistically different (compare means), than there's a statistically significant correlation.

And, of course, my study also included "degrees" of gayness.

For wearing makeup, we have to look at either relationship. As gayness goes up, frequency goes up? Or as gayness goes up, frequency goes down? If neither relationship exists at a statistically significant level, the two things are not related.

The average rate (frequency) of wearing makeup for men was 0.07, while the average rate (frequency) of wearing makeup for women was 2.48. This is based on a scale where:

0 = Never
1 = Rarely
2 = Sometimes
3 = Often

So yes, very few men wore makeup at all. But the difference in frequency between straight men and gay men (when viewed through the Likert scale 0-6) was not statistically significant. Therefore, the behavior and sexual orientation, at least in the context of this study, were unrelated.
