SNES with a patched rom. Of course you should also buy the real game but just play the rom. The glitches in the SNES version are ones that you probably won't notice unless you know about them but which will be really annoying if you do.
And do not play the GBA version. Like many have said the music is important. Oh and it's the best game. Nostalgia and all that but who cares.

Suomenlinna as seen on the nr. 2 spot would be my recommendation. It's an island 15 minutes from the City centre on a waterbus. It's basically a historic island where there used to be a fortress that defended Helsinki against the Russians and now it's mostly crumbled walls, old cannons, tunnels and stuff. -- What? Well what kind of activity would you be interested; museums, landmarks, bars? I love my hometown but I don't know what to tell you. Helsinki is quite ordinary.
Apparently Helsinki is also the World design capital of the year. Maybe there's something to be seen involving that. Oh and there's also Heureka the science place which is just a short train ride from the city centre.
