Is it possible? Yes. Probable? Not likely. To put it coldly blunt, anybody can say whatever they want online. Their cousin is who? Which jury are they a part of? Tons of people in NY were sure of the conviction before it happened. There's enough reasonable doubt here that a mistrial wouldn't be called.

AI will be at its best when it's in the hands of professionals for data and research applications, medicinal sciences, climate models, etc., and out of the hands of the military industrial complex. There are way too many bad actors out there for me to be comfortable with AI proliferation. I don't trust China, Russia, NK, Iran, UAE etc. with the technology, but they will have it in some capacity.

You can't make money off of AI. It's prohibitively expensive. There's only so much human creativity and bodies of work that you can pull from for data sets. They're already running up against the upper limit of what they can learn, and it's only been 2 years.

I'd temper expectations on any possible sentencing. A lawyer who worked on Trump's first impeachment analyzed cases brought in NY where falsifying business records in the first degree (the charge Trump is facing 34 counts of) was the most serious charge brought against a defendant - it only resulted in jail about 1 in 10 times.

Should Trump be found guilty I would expect probation and nothing more.

I don't think any of us had the illusions of Trump facing jail time for falsifying business records, even in a felony case such as influencing an election. The dude is white, he's wealthy, and he's almost 80. He'll get convicted and given probation at the very least, If the jury doesn't get hung.
