I ate like 80 shrimp the one time I went. Had a slight allergic reaction on the way home where my eyes got all puffy and watery and itchy which I'd never had before or since, but I have never come close to eating 80 shrimp before or since.

I would later throw up into my wife's passenger side door in front of a cop who then pulled us because he for whatever reason assumed we were drunk.

Cleaning shrimp vomit from a car door sucks.

I have a pretty high prescription at -8.5. I just don't think they can make glasses thin enough for me without them being crazy expensive. I don't know.

I wear my contacts pretty much 24/7. I've tried sticking it out with my glasses for a week or so but I feel sick and uncoordinated. The ground is always warped. Pretty much anything in my peripheral is. I get bright yellow or blue halos around objects.

It sucks. My contacts generally don't cause me any issues but once or twice a year my eye will get super sore and weepy and light feels like hell. I take them out for a couple of days and it clears up. Doctors insist my eyes are still healthy.

I should get surgery but I'm already in crippling debt lol.

My in-laws try to get me to watch it all the time. Pretty much everyone who has told me about it are either boomers, older gen x or the kind of rural Pennsylvanians that I have zero in common with and wouldn't otherwise take entertainment recommendations from.

There aren't any around me, but I've been in places where they are. My mom told me how gross her Jack-In-The-Box was, and it turned me off.

Laundromat people don't have money to waste at strip clubs. My tap room opened next to a laundromat and I was curious about what kinda of crossover we'd get. The answer is none, aside from the people who want to exchange smaller bills.

My mom has beaten more games than I have. She's finished a ton of survival horror type games.

The last game I played was probably Goat Simulator 3. She'd be able to save me.

A Goofy Movie would be my answer on Films To Be Buried With for the question "What is the film that means the most to you? Not because of the film it's self, but because of the memories, you have of it."

But first we have to rewind a bit.

My bological father wasn't really around. He was a Christmas/Birthdays dad. I didnt really like hanging out with him. He wasn't bad towards me, but he felt like a stranger.

One day out of the blue he calls me up and tells me he's going to take me to the movies the next day and asks me what I want to see. This was pretty huge because I had been dying to see Home Alone. He says that sounds good and that he'll get me tomorrow.

So the next day he picks me up and takes to me to see 101 Dalmations. I have seen 101 Dalmations. I didn't like it the first time. I dont really like dogs. I don't really like Disney films. It's not the film I wanted to see.

I didnt say anything though. I just wanted to get through this and get home.

About a half hour into the film, the projector messes up and the power goes out. I assume this means we can leave. Wrong. We sit there for about 15 minutes while they fix the projector and then they start the movie FROM THE BEGINNING. This couldn't have gone any worse.

On the way home I fall asleep in the car and get woken up by him getting into a minor car accident. I don't remember if we got rear ended or if he rear ended someone. I assume the latter. Either way, it was one of the shittiest days I can remember that didnt involve some kind of death or horrible tragedy.

FORWARD a few years later and my mom has been dating this dude that is pretty cool. This guy would eventually marry my mom and adopt me legally. This is the man I consider my dad.

The first time I remember going out with just him we went out to the mall. He showed me to put fries and coleslaw on a burger and called it a Pittsburgher. I thought he was making it up at the time, but it was good. He bought me a video game (can't remember what). We walked over to the dollar theater and looked at what was playing.

He asks me if I'd be okay with A Goofy Movie. As mentioned before, I'm not a Disney person. Nor a dog person. The Goofy family are dogs, right? Either way, it didn't matter. I was having a good time hanging out. Its the middle of summer and an air conditioned theater sounds nice.

We take our seats and realize that we are the only two in the theater. We act like jackasses and put our feet up on the seats in front of us. We dont bother whispering. We have candy and popcorn.

At this point, it is not lost on me that we happened to stumble into a film about father/son bonding. A happy coincidence. I recall being pleasntly surprised by the film as well. The projector didn't burn out. I didn't want to scream. We didn't wreck on the way home.

I've never gone back and rewatched A Goofy Movie and I dont know if I ever will. Ill just leave that good memory be.
