I think there just aren't that many "cute voters" to begin with. That's one reason a lot of my expectations are way off, is I am used to talking Pokemon with people who are more into the cute designs than the cool ones or the meta value. The cute ones also get a nerf from my self-excluding ;_;

Dud of the Day: Manaphy
Manaphy is not an exception. Even with Phione in the same division sucking up most of the negative votes, Manaphy still couldn't advance, which is pretty embarrassing.

I'm also surprised Manaphy couldn't advance, for the same reason. Phione did in fact suck up most of the negative votes (mostly the -3's). For comparison purposes in the votes for Manaphy and Phione:

Total positive points - Manaphy (7 points), Phione (5 points)
Total negative points - Manaphy (27 points), Phione (65 points)

Manaphy fared only slightly better than Phione when it came to the points from the positive votes, but Phione had more than twice as many points from the negative votes.

Brionne is my second favorite Pokemon so I'll join you in solidarity

I also gave a +3 to Brionne to try and save it from a last place finish in its division, but it also got a +3 because that was a very weak division for me. I also combined it with a tactical -3 for Alomomola because it's the only Pokemon in that division with any chance to end up below Brionne.

These rules are new to the moderation team just as they are to everyone else. Which means moderations are not going to be perfect at first. Disputing them, is important because it gets the moderation in front of more moderator eyes to catch where mistakes were made so we can collectively be better at enforcing the rules which, will help everyone have a better idea of what it allowed. Because I agree, right now it feels a bit chaotic.

We have asked that clearer guidelines be published, both for userbase reference as well as ours. I don't know when that's coming. I tried to provide a generalized guideline in a previous topic which basically amounted to don't objectify individuals. I think there is a level of moderator discretion that will come into play, and I wouldn't expect a detailed breakdown of each and every possible infraction. It will be a learning curve for us all and direction has been given to provide some leniency as this is navigated.

SBAllen's incompetence is what got us sold to fandom in the first place so it all goes back to him really.

The decision to sell GameFAQs and the other sites to Fandom would have been made by the upper level management at Red Ventures. SBAllen wouldn't have any power to prevent GameFAQs from being included in the deal with Fandom.
