13 year old me and 30 year old me had the same problems with LttP and OoT: too much backtracking/running between NPCs.

OoT is at its best when you're just exploring and finding fresh things to do. Lon Lon Ranch, Kakariko Village, and Lake Hylia are the best locations because you're just interacting with the world without (many) expectations. Though, if you don't like the fishing game it's going to be an immediate -20 likability points.

Same with LttP. So many puzzles are just "take <key> to <NPC-lock> to unlock next part." I also generally prefer the controls of LA-style games.

LA > LoZ > LttP > OoT
MM and AoL fit in somewhere. MM has lots to just do and explore and I don't mind the timer, but also a lot of <bring thing to NPC>. AoL has more action than LttP, but the exploration is pretty rough.

I just like the way lttp controls more, I don't find the 3d added much to oot

Anyway, youtube makes it so easy to get around bans. Simply add a new channel to your account. Takes only a couple seconds, and AFAIK you can have 100+ channels.
