I kinda wish I got the transparent purple, but what you gonna do. The yellow and ice were "my" controllers, the grey and red were the bastard ones that others used, because they had no self control... such as grabbing pizza or kfc and going straight to the controller, back and forth.

I've only really interacted with them when being pulled over, getting hit by another driver's error, and this one time two asked me to help carry computers into the station. Ofcourse, in hindsight the helping carry a computer could have easily been a trap or gotten me in serious harm, but the one offered me to get me out of ticket if I asked for a name. I didn't remember the name, but damn I coulda tried to dodge that 180 dollar speeding ticket lolololol.

This triggers memories of this awesome time on a ride. It was some plane ride, that would rise up high and then spin, so the seats/planes would angle out. We were easily 60-70 feet high and it broke. So we sat there until hearing rumors of them getting a ladder... idk how that'd work with the planes swinging on cables

Thankful they got it to lower, but man... nothing like being stuck in a crappy wannabe plane suspended by just 3 cables and looking down at asphalt and metal for like 15-20 minutes wondering if you're gonna go splat. Prob why I'm not a fan if heights.

I had access to the box at the church though, the plastic box with unmarked ones from various sources and years, just shoved into a box. That was real class, as it even had the scented ones in there, so the strawberry ones smelled like str-WAX.

They were only here for two years, and they were prime examples of people who do not deserve pets. They had a large dog, talking pitbull/boxer or slightly larger sized. She wasn't one of those, but to give a sense of aproximate scale. They absolutely did not give a shit. They let her run around unrestrained, barking at peoples windows at 1-4 am, would confront and bark as us if we tried to take to step outside. I once even sneezed, in the house, and she came to bark at the house. Whole time they're just smiling and laughing like it's a joke/game. .. like you could be having your face actively ripped off and they'll just say "she's just protecting, put your hand out to smell it"

Anyways, they did this and even came over to mess with various stuff, pretty sure he's the one that bashed in our gas meter gauge. If you tried to deal with the dog, the girl would accuse you of hurting her dog, the kid and mother just laughing. If the dog WAS restrained it was put in a cage for like 20+ hours and peed all over the carpet of a house they were renting. It was awful. Then they got a second dog and thankfully left...

The other neighbors on the opposite side were actually preferable to them, and they illegally burned toxic chemicals, materials, and even caused an explosion in the backyard. Plus the lady had an ex that showed up to break her cheekbone. They were better than the dog people...

Oh and they did other stuff, but the dog part was the most glaringly awful part of it since it was 24/7

Adding another thought to this. Yeah, I too worry about down the road.

I'm thinking over the course of the last 22-25 years the gradual improvement of art style, because the tools/media became easier to access for some. Then the improvement of individual artists to the point where some can pop out something incredible in only 1-4 hours. I feel it was because there was only one way. Learn to do it yourself, and improve.

The AI is just gonna cut the number down or make people lazy/worse. Kinda like how cars have so many driving assists now, yet somehow people drive even worse because they can't be bothered to learn basic laws of physics and expect the aids to do everything for em.

Non-artist that has consumed a lot of actual art over the years. I prefer those, because it certainly has more heart/personality.

However, I find both AI text and image gen to be extremely interesting to mess around with for my own entertainment/use. I don't tout them off as my unique creation or hard work, nor try and fill a commission queue while bullying actual artists out. Those types actually do annoy me. At worst I'll maybe post a few here or share them with a friend.

Oh, and then there's the ones that sit on their prompts/tags like they gotta stick a claim into a gold vein. lol
Also yeah, I find it bullshit that it's replacing so many jobs/positions the way that it is.

I was semi bored earlier. So I fed that buttercup "horse" image I saw in another topic into an AI to see if it could even decipher what it was supposed to be, then to reproduce it with bit more detail. I like the random shaking/vibrating. Buttercup is fierce.

Ironically, it was after it was acquired by the russian company that it was loaded with adware, and sex bots would spam you on it for dating/porn.
*This also drives a reminder/warning not to seek it out and install it for a trip down memory lane. It's not worth the spyware/adware and who knows what else it has, especially these days.
