So we were trying to figure out what to eat at work the other day and she mentioned this restaurant but it was too far away. She had the restaurant pulled up on her computer so we were looking at it for a while. She was like maybe I'll go on my day off. Was that my opportunity to ask her out there?

Then the next day I went to talk with her and she and her coworker were had the restaurant pulled up on the computer and we talking about it. We started to look at the menu items just seeing what was good. She told her coworker I might go on my day off. We kept looking at the restaurant and then she turned and we looked at each other and I just nodded approvingly. I didnt take a shot again. Ugh

She used to name drop her friends all the time when telling my something that happened with them. But now she just refers to them as "my friend".

She was telling me about her friend borrowing her phone charger and not returning it and how she saw him again and he still didn't give it back. I was just in my head like, I know who your talking about and I met him, and I was there next to you when we were all at the bar and he asked you to borrow it, did you forget and you told me this story already.

Then she was telling me about her other friend and how she might be fired but refered to her as "my friend". I'm like I know her friend and I was actually talking to her friend a few minutes before too. Did she forget everything? I was like "Samantha" and she's like yeah and just started talking about her like before and knows I know stuff.

Like to troll. Say you pull up a random registry and they have a coffee maker, and you just buy it off their list and on their end it shows someone bought it for them but you're just gonna keep it for yourself.

Obviously this only makes sense if you were going to buy those items for yourself anyway.

You should ask it about NFL rules in WWE next

Adapting NFL-style game stipulations and rules to WWE could create a unique blend of sports entertainment. Here are some ideas:

**Downs and Yards System:**
- Wrestlers could have a set number of attempts (downs) to pin their opponent or make them submit. If they fail, their opponent gets a chance to go on the offensive.
- **Pros:** Adds a strategic layer to matches.
- **Cons:** May slow down the pace of the action, which is not typical for WWE.

**Play Clock:**
- Wrestlers could have a limited amount of time to execute a move or combination of moves before having to break and reset.
- **Pros:** Introduces urgency and quick thinking.
- **Cons:** Could limit the development of longer, more dramatic sequences.

**Instant Replay:**
- Controversial decisions could be reviewed on instant replay, with the possibility of overturning a referee's call.
- **Pros:** Adds drama and can correct mistakes.
- **Cons:** Might disrupt the flow of the match and reduce the referee's authority.

**Challenges:**
- Wrestlers could have the option to challenge a referee's decision a limited number of times per match.
- **Pros:** Creates additional tension and strategic decisions.
- **Cons:** Could be overused and become a gimmick.

**Scoring System:**
- Points could be awarded for certain moves or sequences, with the winner being the wrestler with the most points at the end of the match.
- **Pros:** Rewards technical skill and strategy.
- **Cons:** Might detract from the traditional pinfall or submission endings.

These adaptations would certainly give WWE a fresh twist, but they would need to be carefully integrated to maintain the essence of professional wrestling entertainment.

Incorporating WWE-style match stipulations into NFL games would certainly shake things up! Here are a few creative ideas:

**Ladder Match:**
- Teams could compete to reach a certain score first, and once that score is reached, a "ladder" period begins where the next score wins the game.
- **Pros:** Intense excitement as teams scramble to score.
- **Cons:** Could lead to overly aggressive play and increase the risk of injuries.

**Elimination Chamber:**
- Multiple teams enter the game at different times, and teams are eliminated as they concede scores.
- **Pros:** Adds a survival element to the game.
- **Cons:** Complex scheduling and longer game duration.

**Hell in a Cell:**
- A game played with no field goals or punts allowed, forcing teams to always go for touchdowns or turnovers.
- **Pros:** Encourages offensive play and big risks.
- **Cons:** Could disadvantage teams with strong defensive strategies.

**Royal Rumble:**
- Players from different teams enter the field at set intervals, changing the dynamic of the game as it progresses.
- **Pros:** Unpredictable and varied gameplay.
- **Cons:** Player coordination and safety could be challenging.

**Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (TLC):**
- Teams could earn different points for different achievements, like a touchdown (table), field goal (ladder), or turnover (chair).
- **Pros:** Rewards teams for diverse skills.
- **Cons:** May complicate the scoring system and game understanding for fans.

Adapting AEW (All Elite Wrestling) style match stipulations to the NFL could introduce some novel and entertaining elements to the game. Here are a few AEW stipulations that could be creatively adapted for the NFL:

**Lights Out Match (No-DQ Match):**
- In this adaptation, once the regular game ends, an additional period begins where standard penalties are not enforced, allowing for more aggressive plays.
- **Pros:** Could lead to a thrilling, unpredictable finish.
- **Cons:** Player safety would be a major concern due to the increased physicality.

**Falls Count Anywhere:**
- Points could be scored from any position on the field, not just the end zone, perhaps during special plays.
- **Pros:** Encourages creative plays and strategies.
- **Cons:** Could disrupt the flow of the game and make it harder for fans to follow.

**Ladder Match:**
- Teams might compete to reach a certain point threshold first, and the game doesn't end until a team reaches that score.
- **Pros:** Keeps teams competitive throughout the entire game.
- **Cons:** May extend game duration significantly.

**Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match:**
- A metaphorical adaptation where certain zones of the field become 'danger zones' at random intervals, increasing the risk/reward of plays in those areas.
- **Pros:** Adds an element of high stakes and strategy.
- **Cons:** Complexity in implementation and potential for unfair advantages.

**Casino Battle Royale:**
- Teams could earn chips through various achievements during the game, which could be cashed in for points or special privileges.
- **Pros:** Adds a layer of strategy regarding when to use the chips.
- **Cons:** May be confusing and could detract from the traditional viewing experience.

Are you going to lunch with her at work or is she just straight out borrowing money and you don't eat together?

I always go get food for myself during work, so when I pick up for her also we always eat together at work.

Itachi157 posted...
This. If you're picking up food for her and eating separately then ask if she'd be down to eat lunch together next time (preferably on your guys' day off so it's clearly not a "work lunch"). If she says no or gives an excuse I'd just drop it, she probably doesn't want much to do with you outside of work. Doesn't mean you guys can't be cool at work though.

If you're already getting lunch together, just keep doing so and talking to her during lunch. No real need for text conversations at that point. Maybe during lunch one day ask if she'd like to go catch a movie together (or some other activity) or like I said earlier, suggest getting together for a meal on your guys' day off.

I always talk to her during work, not just during lunch. I just don't know what to do lol. I want to text her more just cuz I want to have communication with her outside of work. Funny thing is I always initiate face to face conversations with her but she always initiates text conversations with me.

I guess some people are more comfortable with texting so I'm trying to improve my texting game too lol.

So a week or so back, this girl from work owed me money for food and she was like "omg I still have to pay you back lol".

So she Zelles me later at like 12am, no message. So I just text her "about time " and that turns into a 2 hour text conversation from there.

We got food again at work and she owes me money again. I joked that I should just start a tab for her. She pays me back all the time so I know she's good for it.

I dont want to reuse the same line again on text so what should I say this time to start a conversation again?

So I talk with her a lot at work, we get along great, and she's always engaging during conversations.

One thing I have noticed though is that she never asks me about me. I just realized every conversation we have is strictly about her. It's always about what's going on in her life. I usually have to bring up stuff about myself but she never asks. She never asks how's my day going or if I have anything going on. This is all stuff I ask her and she goes on about it. The only stuff she asks me about is neutral stuff like if I saw a show or a movie.

The weird thing is, to my coworkers, who she really only talks to in passing, she asks them how their day is going or other life stuff. She asks another coworker about their weekend because he mentioned the week before that they were going to a concert.

Is there a reason I don't get this lol

now.

I'm just gonna give everyone random names.

So I originally invited her (Kate) to come out with me and my coworkers. I didn't actually want her to come, I just wanted to hang with the guys but my coworker Dave said he was going to invite her and her coworkers. She declined but invited me and my coworkers to go out yesterday.

So we're hanging out with everyone and everything is going great. We went out to a bar. Somehow though, deep inside, this has put me at a distance with her. Now that she's more aquatinted with my coworkers, I feel like I'm at a disadvantage since I was really the only one who talked to her from my department at work.

It feels like now it's just to weird to ask her out now. It's like I'm in the casual friend territory now. Feels like if I ask her out for a drink she's just going to respond back asking who's also going and it's going to be awkward for me to say just us.

I would have preferred for things to stay how the were but this was all my doing. I didn't want to but I basically set the precedent now for everyone to hang out and it grosses me out that I am being selfish like that.

I feel sick now. I hated work but lately I enjoyed coming in to work because I would get to see her but now I dread going in to work again.

I should have asked her out a long time ago and I feel like I screwed up. She told me she had a good time with us and would like us to hang out more with her friends. I will go hang out but I feel it's just going to hurt every time. If I ask her out and she's not interested, I feel like I'm pretty much not getting invited out.

I think it might be time for me to pack up my feelings and move on.
