The logic is going to be more:

Person:"I was born here! My father was born here! I am not illegal!"

Trump Admin:"But your grandpa illegally came here didn't he? If not for that crime you wouldn't be here, therefore you are illegal too and denaturalized!"

By that logic, one could argue the Europeans illegally came to native American lands. So that would mean all white people in America should be deported. But Trump obviously won't reach that logical conclusion

It also showed that people will eventually fight again though and defeat the new fascism. I think even if America falls to fascism, it won't last forever. That's what I hope anyway
