This isnt the same thing but I rewatched Revenge of the Nerds (1984) about a month ago on a random cable channel. Not a movie channel like HBO but one of those that shows it uncensored but with commercial breaks.

Anyway there was this whole long warning at the start of the movie Id never seen about how it was made at a different time and potentially not suitable for modern audiences and how it might be offensive now and problematic for audiences but it was going to be shown in its original form.

I usually only watch watch movies on HBO or Starz so Id never seen this before. I was surprised. I wont be surprised if in time the movies arent shown at all if deemed inappropriate.

And not to go off on a tangent and change the subject but this trend of censoring 100% normal words in articles or videos is so overboard at times it makes them where you cant even stand to watch/read them and at times are so excessive you cant follow a story or understand what they were meaning to say.

I mean revenge of the nerds involved a guy getting revenge with rape by deception and was long considered messed up

But it hasnt actually been told and probably never will

As a Brit I never got the way Americans seem to pride themselves on not taking annual leave. I get 31 days per year, an additional 6 or 7 for bank holidays and sick days on top that dont come out of my PTO. I dont get why people dont take them.
