The bread slicer death in Fear Street 1994. I feel like that one came out of nowhere and it was just brutal.

The jock guy in The Blob 1988 remake. When his girlfriend walks in on him reaching out while his whole body is melting away, that was a horrifying scene.

Theres no real diving. You basically just enable Steam Play in settings, then just use Steam like normal, and most games should just work. The main ones that dont are online games with some form of anti-cheat, as these often interpret being ran through DXVK / Proton as cheating.

The diving is installing like GloriousEggroll builds of Protom and switching to those to see if they give you better performance, but I think theres like a Proton Manager app or something to do that for you.

How about mods? Are they easy to install and manage? I love modding games on PC, so that would be a big one for me.

Another one I just thought of, the face melding dude in the Thing 2011. Like damn, what a horrible way to go.

That JW death is one of the most unfair I have ever seen in a movie.

A couple that stand out for me:

The slow knife death in Saving Private Ryan (if you've seen the movie, you know the one)
The oven death in Thanksgiving

It sort of does, it creates situations where hefty situations can branch off based on cascading effects. Ie, what if Peter Parker didn't get bit by the spider? Because it was just random chance and the spider could have bitten anyone.

There is not time travel, you cannot go backwards, you can't go forwards, but you can possibly jump to different universes. It's a way where you can have some sort of smaller cascading effect but not have to rewrite the entire world, and it's a way to showcase how little any of our personal decisions truly matter overall.

The other ones just get kinda confusing.

Doesn't the third option cover that? You could just say that multiple timelines are identical up to a certain point where they differ because an event turned out differently.

The current shows like Discovery and Strange New Worlds are in the original timeline. Or at least, they line up more with the original.

In the comics, it wasn't about money at all. Peter just didn't care that the place was getting robbed as he thought he was above stopping a petty criminal.

We agree on most things political, I'm probably a bit more left than they are as they're conservative in some aspects.

I just thought he was too passive. In the comics, he would push back verbally against bullies like Flash if he had enough. He did have an argument that led to a boxing match with him in one early issue.

Depends on the game. If I really enjoyed it, I'll play it multiple times. I remember I played through the original Ratchet &Clank three times in a row.

Some elements of them were bad. But other things they got right. Like Garfield feels like a better Spider-Man than Toby Maguire. I would say Toby is a good Peter Parker and Andrew Garfield is a good Spider-Man. Also they are more comic accurate.

I think Andrew was a better Spider-Man and Peter Parker than Toby was. Toby Peter was more of a pushover. The AMS movies were more comic accurate to his character than the Raimi ones.

Another one I thought of, Backdraft. The ending always gets me.

That might be my favorite, although I also really like It and The Stand. I read Fairy Tale recently and thought that was very good, too.

I recently saw some videos that I was in when I was in my early teens. It was a bit depressing since it had my dog in it, first time I'd seen and heard him since he disappeared years ago.

Republic of Ireland, I've visited before and I enjoyed my time there. I'm currently in the US.

Neither of my parents have any interest in them. My dad did really like the I Expect You To Die VR game when I had him try it, though.

Sweet, I really enjoyed the first trilogy. Especially the second part, reminded me a lot of the classic slasher movies.

The joker was killed off in his first story, IIRC because he was exactly the kind of throwaway villain we treat new ones like. The issue is more marvel/dc's lack of faith in their writers to give new villains time to grow.

Nah, he survived. Batman just knocked him out, the last page has Joker in a prison cell.

I prefer Total Recall but only by a little.
