and Desert Treasure is a long quest

wilderness isn't that popular, it's really about the PVP worlds

at this point the vast majority of players are well aware of pures and a good majority of them have pures of their own so there is no surprise factor now lol

getting closer to recipe for disaster quest point requirements, 149/175 points so far

i'm a member again lol, I just bought a bond with in game GP cuz I said fuck it lol

I still feel bad after losing the TBow double or nothing but I don't regret going for the double or nothing

if I just kept the one Tbow I would have sold it then blown more than half of the GP on full Torva armor

full Torva is best in slot for melee BUT it's not a GIANT upgrade over full bandos armor, it's better for sure but not THAT much better

full bandos is like 45 million, full torva is 975 million

I did the max hit calculator with my current stats and compared bandos and torva and my max hit is the SAME, later on when I get barrows gloves and level up my strength there will be a difference but i'm talking like maybe 2-3 points higher on my max hit, nothing big, people pay the premium for best in slot gear though

now the GP from two Tbows would have made a BIG difference to my account, I could have bought best in slot gear for ranged and magic and melee and still would have had a lot over for more valuable stuff

That sounds intense and reminds me of when I had a streamer stake for me for several months in the past lol. I can relate to the adrenline rush and painful feelings associated with their crushing defeat

the defeat wouldn't have been so bad if I legit wasn't 2 HP away from winning when my guy was at full health lol

like if they traded blows till my guy died or my guy got blown out i'd be less in shock haha

to put it in perspective for non-OSRS folk

if i were to pay for OSRS bonds that Jagex authorizes, i'd have to spend over a thousand dollars to even get the in game amount for a Tbow

if i were to pay the illegal way that would get me banned from OSRS, i'd have to pay like $310 for a Tbow

i was 2 HP away from in game winnings that would have been worth over $2000 legitimately or $600 if i were to put my account at risk by breaking rules lol

I entered a giveaway for a OSRS streamer but to get an entry into the giveaway I had to participate in a hellofresh sponsorship thing (hello fresh is not the problem here btw lol)

the giveaway was for a TBOW which is valued at 1.6 billion OSRS gp, for comparison my bank is worth like 270 million

and when it came time to draw the winning ticket, I was picked

so I was like hell yeah!!! but then the streamer mentioned that I had the option to do double or nothing and I have done double or nothing for past things i've won from said streamer

so I said fuck it let's do it and chat got hype as fuck

so what the streamer does when I redeem twitch points for double or nothing is that said streamer does a death match against another person willing to match the winnings and puts my prize I just won on the line

if streamer wins, I get two TBOWs, if streamer loses, I don't get anything

streamer finds someone willing to death match and they duke it out

the streamer fighting for me gets a FAT lead in health and actually whittles down the opponent to 2 FUCKING HP left while STILL HAVING FULL HEALTH

but then streamer keeps hitting 0 after 0 after 0 after 0

then opponent hits the streamer with a 30-to-40 something hp hit which i'm like okay that's fine......

then opponent hits streamer with a FUCKING 85HP hit

opponent, with 2 HP remaining, does not get hit for like 6 times straight then 2 shots my guy to death

I AM CRUSHEDDDDDD, chat is crushed, streamer is crushed

I was legit 2 hit points away from over 3 billion GP

owwwwwwwwwwwwwww

now if I stuck with keeping my prize I would have blown most of it on torva armor, but having 3.2 billion gp meant I could buy torva AND the best in slot gear for range + magic AND still have plenty of FUCK YOU money left over to do whatever the hell I wanted

my melee goals for OSRS

get 80 def so i can equip torva armor, currently 78 defense right now

get 82 attack so i can equip the osmumten's fang, currently 80 attack

after i get both 80 def and 82 attack i'll go all in on strength until it's level 99, currently 75 strength right now

then when i get 99 strength i'll do 99 attack then 99 defense

Skipping suboptimal tasks is okay if you have the points. For Wyrms though in particular, skipping is suggested.

Bruh, what the FUCK is this Monkey Madness quest?! Got killed trying to escape jail because I got assailed by arrows before my capture, then when I messed up escaping a bunch of times, I get sniped by some monkey archer when I finally do escape lol

Then I go in this cave to look for a gnome mage, but there's a fucking MILLION zombie monkeys and it takes like 20 miles of running and walking to get through this cave while rocks fall on my head every few seconds. But I can't stop to dodge the rocks under the overpasses because my prayer is running low and these zombie monkeys hit for a fuck ton of damage. Plus everything fucking poisons you here
