"Make it easier for me because I am not skilled enough" is so often veiled as a plea for accessibility.

It's a joke, and they thought it was so funny that they'd repeatedly point it out.

It's really dumb, and more often than not the "ideas" people have for it tend to amount to nothing more than thinly-veiled "well these indigenous people of x, y, and z nation couldn't possibly have used human ingenuity to figure things out".

Getting there is tedious but the mission itself is easy. If you can't get the coins in one ride then you can just use the hover nozzle to get them.

The whole segment is ill-conceived but in practice it's not as bad as its fellows.

Much like with the new visuals, I think the new music goes seriously overboard. It's a bit too noisy and "extra".

Pretty much. His point-by-point "reviews" (explanations) are grating enough but then his voice utterly destroys them.

It's funny how calling things "The Scrappy" has pretty much solidified the meme hate towards the character.

It was my favorite SMT-adjacent thing. The writing was kinda bad but in an entertaining soap opera way, and I thought the gameplay was awesome. It's a shame that it kinda abandons its themes after a point, especially in the enhanced ports (a trap Atlus tends to fall into). It's a game my friends were always nagging me to play (because I share a name with Katherine) but I was always resistant to it due to the adult themes. The game itself was nowhere near as sleazy as the packaging would lead you to believe, thankfully.

It's the kind of gameplay formula that's simple but has a lot of robust parts that can do a lot of heavy lifting. Simply adding more kinds of blocks is really all a sequel needs to do, mechanically.

I kinda like looking at the YMMV page to see what insights I could get on something I just consumed. Sometimes, seeing other perspectives can make me think about things in different ways.
The site is otherwise just kinda trash. It's a bunch of obsessives who want to label and categorize everything even when it doesn't fit, openly stretching definitions or even saying that something is "averted" or "inverted" just so they can make the tropes list bigger. People who want to control language with their stupid inside-jokey terminology. It's crazy how often "some people think" is used to mask some isolated person's vent or bad opinion about something.

What about phone sex?

I don't know what's a bigger overreaction: the change to the rules or the response from the userbase.

It wasn't a moral. Family Guy is never sincere about stuff like that, and it makes its liberal standings pretty obvious. I don't know if media literacy is just in that bad of a state.

I do. My block list is full of Neon and Vegy accounts.
But it's not like they always just show up exclusively in isolated, dedicated threads.

I thought the hornyposting was obnoxious and I think that curbing some of the more-egregious members' bad behaviors was good. Making this board private and limiting its growth is a really bad call, though.

I couldn't really get into the gameplay. Every class seemed to have some sort of boring resource gimmick, the encounters were pretty underwhelming, and "hit weakness" is not as deep or interesting as developers seem to think.

Absolutely not. Four years ago was back when my depression and self-harm issues were maybe at their worst. I've made a lot of progress since then and never want to go back there.

BAR Stella Abyss, easily.

It was funny early on with its snappy pacing and charmingly-crappy art style/voice performances.

The show would lose its charm and would become super drawn-out and boring, with so many episodes just being repeating jokes well beyond their expiration date. Those jokes tend to simply be "lol these guys amirite" and not much else. You have to find the mere premise and subject to be inherently funny, and I would say that it almost never was.

The show doesn't offend me politically but I do think that it often is in poor taste with moronic, sometimes-muddled commentary. The show is nowhere near as smart or interesting or even funny as it likes to pretend to be.
