I like that the ranting post acts like Supernatural was the biggest survivor from SuperWhoLock, despite Dr Who just starting a new season.

Dr Who is still going strong and making headlines dude. Supernatural is one of the two reason that grouping "crumbled"

My post was simply about Moyes being realistic about his team's chances against a powerhouse team in the last game of the season. If he'd said "we're going to kick the shit out of them" it would be for the laughs because no one would take that seriously.

You never know what's going to happen.

There is a big gap between "We are going to beat the much better teams' ass" and "Our pro team couldn't beat their youth team".

As you said, you never know what's going to happen. The coach should at least pretend that his guys stand a chance, rather than talk like they are a crappy team that can't beat children. That's the kind of talk that can make a team give up on a coach.

Seems like Infinite Fusion uses later Gen stuff. I know I got Mankey early with Karate Chop and Ratata got Dark type Bite. And my Squirtle/Nidoran had double kick for Brock, not that they needed it.

My infinite fusion is going alright. I'm at the SS Anne. Made it to Mt Moon without anyone fainting, but that damn cave wiped out most my team so now there have been a lot of fusions forced since then.

I had forgotten how little variety of types there are early in Red/Blue. So many normal/bug/flying/poison fusions.

So really Ash is the 6th seed but they want him to look like a bigger Underdog so the show is lying to the viewers. I'm just going to claim this is an unreliable narrator.

Damn sucks to be Lance. Does Ash have to fight Leon first like seeding would suggest?

It's fun and popular so I'm not too surprised.

I haven't watched the campaigns but I did watch S1. I started the first like 2 or 3 episodes of S2, then dropped it for other things, but I still want to go back and probably start from the beginning of the season again

Cool, I'm always curious how people are going into it. It is a really good and fun watch either way.

Started up Infinite Fusion. Got through Brock. Going well and really fun. They have added a lot of cool stuff.

I'm stealing an idea from the streamer I watched where if a Fusion gets KO'd you have to change the Fusion. Either reverse it or unfuse it. That way I get to see way more fusions. Though I didn't start that until I reached the first gym because lack of money is a real issue in this game.
