Well it's hard to sympathize when red states like South Carolina are the ones who overwhelmingly nominated Biden in the primaries. People in blue states like California tried to offer a candidate more likely to motivate us blue staters to vote.

Good thing most people voting Democrat are those who realize what they will lose when Republicans are in power. There's a reason why Democrats have an an overwhelming majority of Black voters, LGBT voters, Asian voters, Indigenous voters, and not Texas & Florida Latino voters.

Since the Dobbs ruling, Democrats have increased their margin with suburban white women voters which is huge since White people are still the majority of the USA population.

It's not a whatsboutism, Trump has quite literally said on national television that he would reinstate another Muslim ban and it would be even more harsh. He has a SCOTUS that will allow it to happen. That Muslim ban can easily shift into target anybody Arab regardless of religious belief.

That's why a lot of people are scratching their heads at why a sizeable chunk of the Arab community are trying to hurt themselves here.

This is an electoral issue many have already been pointing to since theres more Arab & Muslim voters in Michigan than the margin Biden won by in 2020. The problem is that Whitmer won her reelection while losing a significant majority of Arab voters in Michigan. Most voted for the Republican candidate.

If the same happens with Biden, the Arab community in Michigan will have proven there's no point in trying to court them. Tlaib is not helping with that.

I am a fan of Biden but even I have to admit that I wish someone else was running instead of him. The guy is too old to be running the country effectively. If it comes down to him vs. Trump of course I'm gonna vote for Biden but damn we really need a younger candidate.
