Finished it! Man, what a ride, this game is so good, totally deserving of its reputation. I liked the ending. I hear it's got two endings which I'm guessing is determined on who you side with at the very end. Naturally I went with my pet nuke Maelle so Verso never stood a chance lol. I did feel sorry for him at the end that I wondered if Maelle was being selfish in preserving the Canvas, but I didn't want that world to disappear either.

Plus, look everybody's back and alive again! Happy ending for everyone...but Verso, I guess.

Excellent game.

The games don't need remakes, the remasters hold up just fine.

Also I'm not gonna bother with any new Bioshock games until I'm sure they'll avoid the multiverse nonsense entirely.

No just how the Sciel relationship plays out if you picked her. Wasn't sure if you wanted to actually know or if you planned to replay it to see. So I just put it in spoilers.

After she finds out that her husband can be brought back by Maelle she ends it with Verso.

Maxed all relationships!

But damn at Sciel. I had no idea she carried such trauma. I knew she was still hurting after her husband's death, but she tried to drown herself after. And she had no idea she was pregnant so when she was rescued, she ended up losing the baby because of her attempt. She masks her sadness well with how happy and carefree she usually is.

I actually don't know how a romance with Sciel is supposed to play out, she clearly still loves and longs for her husband.

But that's all relationships maxed. I think I'll explore under da sea for a bit, just to see what's there but then I'm heading to the final boss.
