They clearly have massive rampant safety issues, they explicitly hid details about a new instrument that got people killed, and now they've murdered a whistle-blower and are so afraid about something getting out that they're straight up destroying evidence and hoping the fine from that will be less bad than what they actually did.

The team handling my job's app suddenly decided, without informing anyone, to send a verification email every time someone logs in. They claim it's for security, but it just makes it more difficult for customers x.x

My guess is modern devs think it would be a little used mechanic and don't want to bother to support it.

But it's literally the most minimum effort possible, and in some cases it's LESS effort to allow it

Yeah someone just pointed this out to me and I'm doing it now lol, apparently they added the ability in Definitive

As in, remove yourself from it and just spectate the game. It's so weird to me because I can't see any reason for it - the AI works fine and fights itself fine, so why not just....remove fog of war and let you spectate?

But I can't find a single RTS that allows it. I know they exist but still :(

Man Hobby Lobby needs to be shut down and their owners arrested

Very solid game bit noticeably less good than the first. Story is more rushed,gameplay is less polished, and there's less emotional impact in the ending, mostly because it feels like you only get half a story regarding Harry.

There are some amazing moments though, and pretty much everything gameplay related around venom, both playing as and fighting against, is about as good as the character can be done in a game.

Kraven was ok, but he's never been my favorite character. As a central villain he is just not very compelling , and gameplay wise he just feels bog standard.

As far as combat goes, I mostly love it but the introduction of parrying felt extremely heavy handed and served to only make the game a bit chunkier and slower than before.

When is the time skip, if it's not a huge spoiler? Just curious.

On Ep 98 now, this is solid. I've met two characters I hear people talk about constantly so that's nice.

I'd say the first major arc with universally positive reception goes from 92 to 130, so that's not too far off.

I'm excited, right now it's mostly just short adventures that are never bad but can vary in fun levels

I'm on ep 71 rn, so still super early. I'm enjoying it, but it's not nearly as good as the hype would suggest. Not surprising, hype rarely matches reality, but I'm curious how much better it's going to get. Still plan to keep watching anyway, though.

Oh definitely. Always ask for a lawyer. If that isn't the end of the discussion you are almost guaranteed to go free, or at minimum put your case under serious scrutiny.

Watching Jack Reacher and if made me curious.

Say a cop knows a PI or some other civilian working a case, and they arrest a subject able to afford good lawyers to challenge things. Cop brings in the civilian to the interrogation, but stays to ensure any normal rules or regulations are followed.

Does bringing in the civilian create an avenue for his lawyers to appeal and get a conviction overturned?

For context in the show this happened in Philadelphia, but if you have information for anywhere else I'd love to know.
