I guess even a few people survived at Jonestown. The people that would attend these rallies are long gone though I think. Sort of hearkens back to what was being talked about earlier. Maybe if this was 2016 a few of these people would wake up, but 8 years later I don't think that's in the realm of possibility.

It's just a bizarre argument to get hung up on. Like if there was never a timeline where Dark Nation or these vieras appeared in the contest and Stamp was being argued against as not "character enough", then sure, maybe I'd agree. But the fact all this garbage has already been allowed in, the door should just be open to virtually anything now. The way I look at it now is that if Stamp was simply allowed to be in, maybe these nonsense characters would have never been nominated to begin with. Now just about each year more junk makes its way in, so the contest is actually a lot worse off for not having Stamp.

Dark Nation doesn't speak and uses the same character model from other enemies in the game.

Honestly, if things like the vieras are going to be allowed anyway I'm not sure why Stamp isn't just let in. I personally think it's a little dumb, but we're at a stage where most people who participate in this have either seen their true favorites win or have given up hope they ever could. So people just want to have fun project characters and see how far they can push them.

Stamp is at least a mascot and fairly prominent in terms of his image. Much moreso than vieras with almost no screentime from a game that even has a poorly performing playable character cast. If this was ever about the "purity" of what's allowed in SMFFFC, I'm pretty sure that by not allowing Stamp in that mission was failed.

As in if you voted for Trump in 2016 I can forgive you so long as you didn't vote for him again. Basically I can write that off as being naive and ignorant without necessarily being malicious or evil.

I feel like there are two different types of ignoring these people and maybe you're both speaking about each of them. I do ignore them; in terms of anything they have to say, because it will be without merit. Voting for Trump is 2016 was pretty bad, so I thought at least. But maybe in retrospect a little forgivable. Voting for him in 2020 was worse because then you knew what you had, but voting for him in this cycle is an unforgivable action in my book. Anyone voting for Trump in 2024 is without dignity and as such, should be thoroughly ignored because there's nothing positive they could possibly offer the world. I don't like feeling that way about what will be tens of millions of people, but there just aren't two sides to this argument politically. Regardless of how you feel about one side and Joe Biden, the other side is completely evil so there's only one thing to do.

But I don't "ignore them" in terms of that I don't believe that they believe what they say. And most importantly, that they will go out to vote no matter what. So long as you don't ignore them in that way, it's fine to tune them out completely otherwise.

XII in general has been bad for a long long time. It's a fight for any of them to look decent; I like Fran okay, not sure why she was brought back if no one is gonna support her though. Better to leave her like Dr. Cid and out of the contest permanently.

Torn because Boston is lol. Not sure who besides a Celtics fan would ever want to see them win a championship. Perhaps it's just me, but I don't find franchises like them very likable from an outsider standpoint.

With the Mavs, I like Luka but Kyrie is there and... I can't remove his run with the Nets from my mind. To his credit, he's been super quiet and chill since he's been on the Mavericks. Total 180 from his time in Brooklyn I feel. But I find it hard to root for a flat-earther antivax know-it-all weirdo "philosopher" like Kyrie.
