terrible performance that hasn't been addressed at all, no story progression at all, no postgame content like a battle tower, the game doesn't feel like an adventure, nothing's left to the imagination, they hit you with a big empty sandbox where you just auto-battle until you're overleveled to hell and stomp the "gym" leaders in a random order that makes no sense. it's so strange to me how ferociously people hate on open world games, but then when game freak does an even worse job at it than anyone else, everyone eats it up because nintendo.
