I'm still having a blast with mods; my favorites lately are the Animator and the one that lets you have Pokemon partners in battle. The final boss for the former mod is a bitch and a half, but it gets easier with the latter.

Animator was pretty fun
The Drifter is my current favorite (also completely ridiculous)
Also, Together in Spire is incredibly well done.

Slay the Spire doesn't need another title. I've cleared A20H runs on every character, but I still have plenty to see and do. Try downfall and other mods if you really want to just freshen up the experience, but at this point, I think user generated content is and should be all we have to add to StS. Let megacrit work on their new project, and when it comes out, maybe we have another gem of a game.

As much as I despise people who base their identity around politics, juggalos tend to be very loud and smelly and I just cant stand being reminded that I listened to ICP for like 2 months in middle school.
And hey, at least they're not Biden supporters, or worse, BERNIE SUPPORTERS. Those people absolutely cannot shut up about politics for more than 5 minutes at a time.

edit: Oh also, ICP fans tend to be poor people, and I spend a lot of energy trying to distance myself from poor people. Most violent crime is perpetrated by people of lower socio economic status and I just dont need that around me thanks.

It is bonkers to me the lengths people will go to to justify their addictions. Whether it be caffeine, pot, or heroin, the behavior is always the same.

Its a constant assurance that "No, I don't experience the well documented effects of the regular use of this drug, and neither do most people! If I admitted that I did, then I would have to admit I have a problem, which is the first step in overcoming addiction, and I am just not willing to do that!"

Having gone through it myself, I can only cringe at the fact that I used to be like that.

This may not be your experience, but for me it seems to be about moderation (as with most things) to avoid adverse issues with imbibing.

But if it makes you feel good to assume that pot smokers are losers that you're superior too... *shrug* You do you I guess.

We were what you call regular users and no, I don't feel superior to anyone. I was a regular pot user myself, so I understand the appeal of that addiction and how easy it is to fall into it when everyone is telling you it's OK. I just made better choices. A person's potential and willingness to reach it is directly tied to their motivation and I just want more people to realize that potential.

But I guess maybe putting words into my mouth makes you feel superior. That or maybe someone's brain is just too addled from regular pot use to realize that's what your doing ;)

I'm talking about a scientific principal that dopamine production is directly linked to motivation in humans, and the fact that regular usage of pot reduces the brains ability to produce it

When you were in school, how many fingers were you taught that people have? Probably 10.

I guess that schools are just glamorizing dumb generalizations because they aren't focusing on fringe cases where some people are born with more or less than 10 and some people lose fingers throughout their lives for the sake of being able to make a cohesive lesson plan that will teach kids facts that they can count on in more than 99% of situations.

Some people's baseline level of motivation is naturally going to be higher than others, but the fact is that dopamine production is directly linked to your brains ability to feel motivation and regularly consuming the idiot making plant known as Marijuana reduces said dopamine production.

Funny how pot smokers tend to be ultra liberal hippie dippies; the same type of genius who will say "trust the science" in some cases while ignoring the science in cases that say unflattering things about them and their beleifs. Maybe it's all the bong resin clogging up their brains.

This is why I am against developing AI.not because I am worried it's going to destroy humanity or phase out art or anything like that

What I hate about it is what we are going to do to it. The level of cruelty that people are likely to inflict on it is fucking terrifying. It can survive so much more and be subjected to so much worse than any organic life, and people will do this shit for no more reason that to see what is possible.
