Cedar Point already had the 2nd highest pre 2010, a stratocoaster with a hydraulic launch. Kingda Ka was the WR coaster before the Formula Rossa in Abu Dhabi. AFAIK, Kingda Ka is still the highest at this point.

January 1st, 1 AD was the first day of the common era, December 31st 1 BC was the last day of the previous era. There was no year zero.

I see.. It jumped forward a year then, much like DST. Except...well you don't fall back.

Nope.

If the beginning of the calendar started at Year 0 AD then...

0=1st Year
1=2nd Year
2=3rd Year
1900=1899th Year.

etc...etc...

In this case it would mean the 20th century began on January 1st, 1899. The obverse is that Year 1 is at 0, Year 2 is at 1, Year 3 is at 2, so it would be 1 behind.

This is essentially a mirror. Look at the above. See that 1=2nd Year would look like that 1901 is the right answer, when if you reverse the numbers, you can see it is 1 year behind, not ahead. (2nd Year=1 AD)

If Year 1 was the first...

1-1st Year
2-2nd Year
3-3rd Year
...
1900th Year=1900

From what I glean, the answer would be no. It's all paid for, and the amount of extra hits to a site the advertiser is advertising, would be the catalyst on whether or not they continue to pay more for the ads to remain.

If so, the question begs, what happens if ads are simply not clicked on? Then they trick you into clicking them by accident. This does not take into account YouTube ads.

I watched a 20 minute video with 3 ads, now that AdBlockPlus has officially sold out. as of about April 17th.
(They lasted a long time)

1 could be skipped. 1 had 2 consecutive ads, 1 at the beginning. None at the end. Length was short. Did not cause lag.

I hired a driver back in one of the only 2 vacays of my entire life ((in 42 years)

Back in 2016 I hired a driving service. (Hiring a Guide in Oregon Trail, anyone?) Not only does he know the land like the back of his hand, I could avoid getting lost, and an insurance nightmare, etc . Cost me about $680 in total.

Sadly in 2017 the prices went up sharply.

I don't think I want to know what they are now.
