Would it sting more to see Cirie fall short again or to finally see her make a FTC only to flop and only get a vote from New Zealand's #1 Cirie fan?

And I didn't realize that the next episode was today instead of Sunday, so here's my thoughts on that.

Yeah, I think Parvati has this wrapped up unless her jury management was terrible or Janine wins the final immunity (because Luke and Cirie aren't winning that). Luke probably beats Cirie in fire, keeping up Cirie's streak of odd eliminations and also her streak of never being eliminated in a majority vote. Then Parvati wins in a blowout. Luke or Janine might get an "Aussie strong" vote, but it's never in doubt.

At least Luke managed to get rid of Parvati's Knowledge is Power advantage.I have no idea why she did that. If she takes Luke's idol she's save until the final 4, which is probably an endurance challenge that nobody can beat her at.

And yeah, keeping Parvati and Cirie around makes no sense, unless we've got another Joe and Eva situation. And saying that makes me realize just how much this season mirrors 48. I guess the Survivor subreddit would've loved 48 if it was Parvati and Cirie doing it instead of Joe and Eva.

Lisa sucks so much and I'm glad Jonathan shut that down right away. She's lucky JT exists or I'd say that's the worst performance I've ever seen out of a former winner. Shame she blew up Tommi's plan, but I'm not even sure Kass was going to go along with it anyway.

And there is a 0% chance Luke still has that idol when he told Parvati. Janine has it. Either that or he's trying to make her think he did the Yase plan and kept it for himself.

I would absolutely love for a Janine redemption arc where she keeps clowning on people and ends up in front of the jury. I don't think it's going to happen, but I would love for it to.

The editing continues to be weird as fuck. Luke just keeps being wrong, Parv is 'too good to be true', Cirie is getting more visible but isn't getting a 'Cirie finally wins' edit, the International trio is invis, Shonee is there but we're not getting enough Shontent (with distinct negativity in her wrongness this episode), and Janine was invis for like the first 3 episodes. This is like, the weirdest 'no clear winner' I've ever seen, or maybe I'm just in denial that Parv ultimately wins.

I really shouldn't have watched the scenes from the next episode though yikes. That gave away way more than I wanted it to.

Yeah, editing is bad. The only person with even half the amount of confessionals Parvati has is a guy going for Eddie Fox's record. (Even if we include Kirby. She just misses the mark). The international three are pretty irrelevant, Cirie and Shonee aren't getting a "they finally win" edit, and it feels too little too late with Janine. But I think Parvati has to be the favorite until she goes out.

Janine made both Parvati and Cirie look silly there. Now I see where the Godmother name comes from.

And I was totally expecting Parvati to play the idol on Kirby, leading to Luke, Shonee, and Tommi voting out Cirie, because that's what happens to Cirie in Survivor.

There's no further sign of how dire it is that Kass of all people is the third most likely to shake this up. Cirie wants to stick with Parvati, Lisa wants to stick with Cirie. Tommi is a waste of a slot. Kirby wants to work with Parvati for some reason, and the preview makes it look like Shonee is with her. And Sarah is a total mess. At least Kass has hints of wanting to turn on Parvati, which is more than I can say for most of this cast.

How often does the "main character" of the season win Australian Survivor? Because this season is looking like it's going to be a boring Parvati steamroll.
